4 teams trade

Charlotte- horford, sixers 22 first round pick

New York Knicks- Chris Paul

Sixers- Gibson, Ellington, Payton

Okc- Batum, Bullock, Ntilikina, okc pick back

Charlotte get rid of Batum and get a pick for taking horford's contract.

New York get what they want.

Sixers send horford's huge contract and get 3 expiring contract.

Okc get their pick back. They send pauls 85 million contract and get expiring with Batum and salary relief for next year. They can use Ntilikina and Bullock from bench.

Knicks not trading for cp3. They will land him next yr on a buyout at the end of the season.

Booker Embiid and Valanciunas will be traded for.

2.) 08 Mar 2020 16:42:31
There isn’t any chance Paul is bought out of two years and 85 million after this year with the success OKC had and the fact that he had a decent resurgence. If he declined his player option in the buyout, maybe. But he’s not throwing 44 million away.

3.) 08 Mar 2020 17:26:25
Lmao @ miller it's a buyout not cancellation of contract. if on 3/ 1/ 21 okc buyout could be for 30 of 50 Mil remaining. If he sign with Knicks. He can get 2yr 35 mil extension. With front office job paying millions afterwards.

4.) 08 Mar 2020 21:33:29
OKC isn’t buying Paul out with 2 years left on the deal and just having 40 plus million in dead money for 2 years.

Paul isn’t leaving 10s of millions on the table.

5.) 08 Mar 2020 23:10:51
Buyouts are usually 80% of deal so player can go elsewhere. Cp3 is in a Greer team than knicks so why give up 25 million to lose/ rebuild?

6.) 09 Mar 2020 01:08:42
15 yrs after knicks convinced Allen Houston to retire to save money, he is still part of organization. CP3 is the same thing if he buyout to join the knicks. Conley also.

7.) 09 Mar 2020 01:32:59
But why would OKC buyout that much money and leave a 40 million chunk of dead cap space for the next year? If the Knicks want him and he wants the Knicks, it would either be decline that option year and take a buyout (unlikely) or trade. It’s not like he’ll be untradeable that offseason when he’s an expiring contract.

8.) 09 Mar 2020 01:55:26
If Paul gets bought out he can accept 50 of the 80 mil and make that up by signing a contract for 2 years 30 mil just saying. That will help okc build through the draft with all that dead money and not having to sign anyone.

9.) 09 Mar 2020 04:31:53
44 million dead cap space is helpful to OKC? Really? That’s the logic you’re finding? They wouldn’t rather have a massive expiring contract they can flip?

10.) 09 Mar 2020 06:53:09
Why would Knicks even trade for both Embiid and Valanciunas?

11.) 10 Mar 2020 21:36:37
I can tell now that okc never would buy out paul and have that much money on the books they would trade him before they done that or just keep him that just never going to happen and Paul isn’t going to risk losing out on money either especially with the Knicks and all there drama and the way they fire people he wouldn’t even risk that change with them even if he was to get a buyout but like I said never ever will that happen our gm in okc is not stupid.

Everybody is writing some trades but nobody mentions my Charlotte. Some trades for summer. Before judging trades please think it is hornets. They always have to overpay to bring players.

First trade

Sac- Zeller, Monk, lottery protected first round pick.

Hornets- Harrison Barnes

Kings clear caps space for 2021 and get a first round pick.

Second trade

Pacers- Terry Rozier, first round pick, 2 second round picks

Hornets- Myles Turner

After this trades hornets will have around 28 million cap space.

Third trade

Bulls- Batum, first round pick

Hornets- Otto Porter, Satoransky, Thaddeus Young

Hornets get 24 M more salary. Bulls have salary relief this year and next year.

Charlotte have to use draft picks on trades because we are the worst franchise at draft. Giving picks for Turner or barnes is better than drafting a young player who will be %90 bust.

Why do guard heavy Indy want rosier exactly?

2.) 03 Mar 2020 14:46:40
It's a fair trade for Indy, but i don't think we can use Rozier.

3.) 03 Mar 2020 17:18:44
Kings don't have any depth at SF to be trading Barnes.

4.) 04 Mar 2020 01:29:45
I am just hoping someone who has some talent. One point down in last 14 second and has the ball against Spurs in tonight game. We had 2 timeout remaining but the coach didn't even use them and I am expecting them to make some good trades.

I wonder if wolves can expand the trade and pull the trigger for Russell. It is not official yet so it is still a possiblity.

Wolves- Russell, A. Johnson

Pacers- Evan Turner,O. Spellman, 2020 Minnesota first round pick unprotected

Gsw- Myles Turner, Jake Layman, M. Beasley, Brooklyn pick.

1.) 05 Feb 2020 10:49:50
Doubt that is enough for Turner.

2.) 05 Feb 2020 14:05:27
No way pacers are okay with that return.

3.) 05 Feb 2020 14:11:02
No way pacers make that trade. They would be worse.

Grizzlies; M. Turner

Pacers: Iguodala, Utah pick, gsw pick.

If grizzlies can't find a first round pick for Iguodala they should consider hım as an expiring contract and add talent to their team. Morant and JJJ playing good. Turner is still 23 years old and fit their timeline. He is very good defencive player. Memphis isn't a free agent destination so it makes more sense. Turner has 3 more years on his contract after this year and relativly cheap. They have to give money to someone so I think Turner is a good candidate.

Two firsts seems like too much.

2.) 29 Jan 2020 18:15:07
Not sure Truner is that much of an upgrade over Valanciunius and JJJ to give up 2 picks.

3.) 30 Jan 2020 01:54:51
So 5 people think a rental who hasn’t played all year is worth 2 firsts. Wow.

4.) 30 Jan 2020 11:29:38
Shiller77 pacers are taking picks not sending them. Nobody thinks Iguodala worth two firsts.

Atlanta: whiteside

Portland: J. Parker, Cody Zeller

Charlotte: Evan Turner, 2 second from Atlanta

Atlanta get Center which they need

Charlotte get expiring contract and 2 second

Portland won't be in the playoff and they have the highest salary in nba. They reduce payroll 6.1 million and they reduce tax money around 9 million with this trade. They will have nurkic back anyway no need for whiteside 27 m contract. Zeller could be a good backup center.

1.) 28 Jan 2020 12:03:02
Hornets give up their only offensive big for two seconds?

2.) 28 Jan 2020 12:12:50
Does Zeller worth first round pick? Even Detroit couldn't get a first round pick for Drummond.

I think contender teams can use kevon Looney from golden state. If golden state don't get salary back or very cheap contract they can reduce salary. They are 6 million over tax. İf they don't get much salary back and they trade Looney they will be under tax line. They won't pay repeater tax money next year. There are teams with trade exception can use hım for a late first or couple seconds. He has 2 NBA chips and played 4 NBA finals. He is very good back up center.

Dallas, miami, clippers have trade exceptions. He has 3 years 15 million contract. Bargain in nba.

Miami only has $2.8 mil space left under hard cap. can't take on Looney.

I think New York should trade Ellington payton Portis and Gibson before their salary become guaranted and take some picks. They shouldn't give big contracts before 21 free agency. For example if hornets want to dump salary. Batum and pick for Portis and Gibson. It is just an example. Contending teams don't have cap space so they can use Knicks to open cap space.
