Trailblazers: Al Horford, Mattise Thybulle, Shake Milton, Gary Harris, 2020 Nuggets 1st, Future 1st from PHI

Sixers: CJ McCollum

Nuggets: Donovan Mitchell, Royce O'Neale, Trevor Ariza, Nassir Little, & 2020 Blazers 1st

Jazz: Michael Porter Jr, Will Barton, Monte Morris, & 2 Future 1sts from Den

Okay a little complicated move

Portland: The Blazers are giving up CJ, Nassir Little & the expiring contract of Trevor Ariza but are getting a loaded package back. Moving on from CJ would be a drastic move. Al Horford allows the team to let Whiteside walk & even tho he is very overpaid the rest of the compensation makes up for it. DPOY type wing talent in Mattise Thybulle, solid two way role player in Gary Harris who needs a change of scenery, a scoring punch in Shake Milton, along with picking up another future first. Dame/Harris/Thybulle/Collins/Nurkic with a very good bench of Simons, Gary Trent, Shake Milton, Carmelo, & Al Horford makes one of the deepest teams in the NBA mixed with young and veteran talent.

Sixers: Philly sheds Al Horford's huge contract by adding in fan favorite defensive specialist Thybulle, young gun in Milton and a first. This move would open up the court a lot for the Sixers and give them a legitimate big three. CJ & Ben's strengths and weaknesses should play off eachother quite well. Ben/CJ/Jrich/Tobias/Joel is one of the best 5s in the league.

Nuggets: Denver gets the young star they originally drafted & locks the team into their third long term contracts to 3 guys that are all top 25 players under 25 years old in Jokic, Mitchell, & Murray. They gave up a good amount of small forward players in this move but get a veteran one in Ariza & a young one in Little to make up for it. The Gary Harris pairing has gone sour and selling MPJ at his highest value may be smart. I believe sacrificing some of their usual depth for more star power is what Denver neeeds going forward. They also manage to move up in the 2020 draft swapping picks with Portland.

Jazz: One of the better young players in the game warrants a pretty large haul and that's exactly what this is. A young prospect with superstar potential in MPJ, two very good role players at positions of need in Will Barton and Monte Morris & on top of that 2 future 1sts. This is a great move to stay competitive and look towards rebuilding the Jazz' next core.

Why jazz are rebuilding? They have one of the best young stars and dpoy. They have to find one good pg that's all.

OKC owns Denver's 2020 first.

FYI. As soon as you say "a little complicated move", you should probably just stop.

76ers: Ish Smith & Mo Wagner
Wizards: Josh Richardson & ORL 2nd round pick

Philadelphia: The Sixers have a good amount of talent with varying skills at the 2/3 position; Thybulle and his defense, Korkmaz and his shooting, Shake's 3 level scoring. So using Josh Richardson, who hasn't been the happiest since traded to Philly, to upgrade two of their most blatant weaknesses in backup PG & backup C would be smart. Both players are dependable bench scorers and will help alleviate some pressure on a nightly basis on Ben & Joel.

Wizards: Washington uses two good players to get a starting caliber wing to enter into an already set starting lineup. I enjoy Richardson's fit here along side Beal offensively and defensively on the wing. Wall/Beal/Jrich/Rui/Bryant with Bertans shooting threes off the bench and a high draft pick this would be a smart move for Washington.

Yeah uh this is a big no for the 76ers. Those players aren’t that good and u think the 76ers would have to throw in pick. Wizards would need to throw in a lottery protected first for them to consider.

Orl 2nd round pick is not owned by phi anyway.

Warriors: Larry Nance Jr, Cedi Osman
Cavaliers: Eric Paschall, Justin Jackson, Boban Marjanovic, Dwight Powell, GSW 17m trade exception & GS 2020 2nd draft pick that DAL owns
Mavericks: Kevin Love & a future second from cleveland

Golden State: The Warriors keep all their picks with value and move on from one of the lone bright spots from their 2019-20 season. However I don't think Paschall will be that great of a contributor once the team is at full strength and competitive, so selling high is the right idea to me. Larry Nance is coming off a very good year & has proven in the past he can contribute to teams with championship aspirations. Along they get Cedi Osman who has shown flashes on the wing and definitely improves their depth.

Dallas: This to me seems like a Dallas Mavericks type of move. Kevin Love is not his former self but he is still a great rebounder and three point threat and a great player to have as a 3rd option. Dwight Powell's injury and Kristaps success at center makes me comfortable with this move. I love a big man rotation of Kleber/Love/KP for Luka to work with.

Cleveland: Cleveland gets a rookie in Paschall on a minimum deal and will allow him opportunity to show his 1st year with GSW was no fluke. They also get a young talent in Justin Jackson. Dwight Powell has proven to be a good player in this league and can play big PF/C minutes for this team next season. GSW 2nd rounder is slated to be the top of the 2nd round so it holds greater value. This is an interesting attempt at strengthening their rebuild, Garland/Sexton/Porter Jr/ Paschall/Powell plus their draft pick, and now more cap room its a start.

The exception is Iggy's right.

2.) 28 May 2020 01:18:06
Cant just $17 mil trade exception and Pashcall in the same trade.

3.) 28 May 2020 04:52:32
You can't trade excepcions. You trade a player or players from other team within your amount of your excepcion and the other team create their own excepcion. For example gsw can take Larry nance using their excepcion and still has 5.5 million left. But Cleveland get 11.7 million excepcion which is nance's salary.

Simple Deal
Rockets: Kevon Looney & 2nd round pick
Warriors: Danuel House

Warriors: I presume that if Golden State's draft pick remains in top 3-5 range that they will be targeting a big specifically James Wiseman. I can argue Onyeka Onkongwu's fit intrigues me more but Wiseman might just have too much talent to pass on. This allows them to move on from Kevon Looney who has been effective for the team in recent years yet with Marquese Chriss on the team now he is expendable. They receive a very solid 3 and D player that would be great with their core guys.

Rockets: Houston gets a cheap serviceable big to fill a desperate need. Looney fits Houston schemes with his effort, low usage, switchable game. This is the exact type of center I can see Daryl Morey targeting. House, who made a name for himself in Houston's system, can be replaced via free agency and most likely not miss a beat.

1.) 27 May 2020 17:12:57
The Rockets don’t want a center and Looney is better than House.

2.) 27 May 2020 17:50:45
looney has not been the same since injury at all, imo. and they do want a center if he costs 3 mil and fits the system. didn't say he had to be the starter but 20 mins with him at C would be good for them.

3.) 28 May 2020 01:08:49
Looney is garbage injured player. House actually can do something.

Blazers: Aaron Gordon
Magic: Trevor Ariza, Nassir Little, Gary Trent Jr, & 2nd round pick

Portland: Aaron Gordon's fit with the Trailblazers would be interesting to watch. The talent and athleticism is clear with Gordon and with a more defined team role with great leaders maybe a new level to his game may be unlocked. Ideally you can start Gordon at the 3 as a switchable wing and a staring lineup of Dame/CJ/Gordon/Collins/Nurkic which I like a lot in theory. I think keeping their 2020 1st is a big win for Portland as well.

Magic: Nassir Little and Gary Trent are fine young wins that team is looking for on their rookie deals and receiving Ariza's expiring contract puts Orlando in a good direction for their rebuild/retool. This allows minutes to be free'd up in a crowed Orlando front court and could allow for players to emerge into bigger roles. I think this is a good safe move for Orlando.

1.) 27 May 2020 06:33:34
Blazers need to add that first. I don't like gordon playing 3. Collins should be flipped to a starting caliber 3 if that happens.

2.) 27 May 2020 09:08:16
I can respect that, I just know Portland is really really high on Collins. Who could you target for him you think?

3.) 27 May 2020 23:25:43
Collins for oubre. I don’t know the money but suns need a pf and seem like young guys would fit.

I wouldn’t be so quick to say Oubre is better than Lauri. Lauri put up 19 and 9 as a 21yr old just in 2018.

Not to mention the $30 million off the books, if that is considered nothing as well.
