Well, seems like the Suns offer for Irving is bledsoe bender and a protected 1st. Not terrrrrrible return, but is that really worth guaranteeing lebron leaves? In that case Bledsoe is worthless as he won't be in the plans of a rebuild. So Irving for bender and a protected 1st?
Pretty crappy when you think about it long term.
1.) 05 Aug 2017 14:35:15
Yeah, if I'm the Cavs I need atleast another pick, prospect, or atleast Warren instead of Bender. If they could get that and Lebron walks, they could probably flip Bledsoe for something like another 1st and a midlevel prospect. Not a ridiculous return on Irving, but an ok start on a rebuild and they could still move Love as well. Although, I'd probably wait until the allstar break on him so people could see what he can look like as the center point to the offense.
2.) 06 Aug 2017 14:51:14
No. Ou miss the point. You can ask what you want. You aren't getting more.
He demanded a trade. Is a one way player. Already implied he is a 2 year rental.
The question is if that is enough to guarantee lebron leaves. If it is. Do the trade. If not. Keep Irving. Ain't getting more.
3.) 06 Aug 2017 15:17:06
Hamburger I see where your coming from. But the suns have to worry about Irving leaving as well.

Knicks - Portland
Melo
Crabbe and Harkness
Ideally, would be AMAZING if the knicks could somehow package Noah for Leonard or Turner as well, but thinking this is a solid return. Solid players, 25 and under, fits the Knicks plans.
Will Melo agree? Probably not. BUT, Portalnd is a rather attractive location Melo.
Lillard, McCollum, Melo, Turner, Nurkic. seems rather solid.
1.) 16 Jul 2017 15:52:57
Like the idea, just agree with the thought that Portland isn't a destination Melo will agree to. That team would svore a ton of points though.
2.) 16 Jul 2017 15:56:48
No chance Anthony heads out there never to be heard from again. He's a big-city guy and playing with his friends is more important than winning basketball games.
3.) 16 Jul 2017 16:10:27
Agreed Jvoung, but i'm starting to think given the situation of things, he may decide to if he really sees the potential. Clearly he isn't just doing the big city thing anymore, and he is looking to win, unless Houston and Cleveland have suddenly become happening places and neither is a contender (those are the two cities he agreed to) . Interesting option. Also, Portland really does seem like a team and franchise on the rise. Great scorers, lots of players in their prime, basketball wise, its a great fit.
Should be an interesting few weeks, but the fun thing is, clearly melo has a decent amount of value as at least 3-4 teams are trying to snag him. Hopefully the knicks play this to their advantage and get a good return.
4.) 16 Jul 2017 16:34:38
If Melo does agree to a Blazers trade, Crabbe and Harkless are both decent, young players. This would be a quality deal for Knicks. I think a couple guys with ok upside is better then a late first rd pick. Knicks bench is so thin on talent, these two guys could play a role ( however at a price. I believe Crabbe and Harkless together make about $29mill per year) .
5.) 16 Jul 2017 16:38:46
They do make about that. It works out salary-wise. My guess is that the knicks would likely snag a pick or two as well, just because there clearly is some competition for Melo. but I would be rather pleased if they could somehow send off Noah in the deal as well without the picks.
Either way, it seems like a potential suitor. Should be an interesting few weeks.
6.) 16 Jul 2017 18:22:46
I like the deal, and it would open up the possibility of dealing Lee for something as well.
I wouldn't have said this a week ago, but maybe Anthony does waive his no trade for a team like the Blazers. He evidently (and rightfully so) wants out of NY. It may not be the team he wants to be with ultimately, but with an opt out at the end of the year, it can also be a one year pit stop. With all three of his buddies potentially being FA's next year, he could potentially join one or more of them then. I've always said, I could pretty much anything for a year if it would earn me $29M! :)
7.) 17 Jul 2017 05:16:18
no chance Portland sends both Crabbe and Harkless and neither of Turner or Leonard.
8.) 17 Jul 2017 12:09:21
Um, actuallly a good chance. Because ya know. Portland actually has to try if they want to convince the Knicks and also melo. But sure homer go for it. Lots of takers of turner and Leonard. Clearly.
18 Jul 2016 15:24:44
rumors about knicks sixers trade discussions. I can see why both teams would consider it, just not sure how the fit is.
Knicks trade: O'Quinn, future 1st and maybe Courtney Lee
Sixers trade: Okafor
There are obvious reasons why the knicks would do this. Spacing wouldn't be an issue with Porzingis, plus Porzingis' rim protection would help make up for Okafor's lacking in that area. Okafor would also likely come off the bench and be able to develop more naturally.
The sixers would only do this because of the log jam at big man. My guess is they would get more attractive offers, but really, who knows. There hasn't been THAT much serious interest for Okafor thus far, so who knows.
1.) 18 Jul 2016 15:46:42
So you believe the "rumor" that's sportsrageous put out. Why would they trade a center for another center?
2.) 18 Jul 2016 15:50:46
Not a chance in hell you trade Okafor for garbage like that.
3.) 18 Jul 2016 16:47:32
A) I don't believe it will happen. Do I believe there may have been discussions internally or even perhaps between the teams? Sure. It was just a interesting posting that I decided to throw out there.
B) Not a chance in hell they trade okafor for an unprotected 1st round pick, for a team you have spent months, probably years, bashing, so clearly it would be a valuable 1st. I mean, what's the deal Tre. you call the knicks one of the worst teams. but then when the value of the return package is based on your estimation of how bad they are. no chance. the knicks are too good to have that be a valuable pick? Probably should pick a side and stick with it as opposed to just immediately hitting the angry bitter post button before thinking.
C) Calm down tre. We all know Okafor is the second coming of Kareem Abdul Jabar, mixed with Olajowon, and a dash of Jesus Christ. But even still, the sixers are moving a big man. they have diminished value because they are obviously moving one. Oquinn was a salary filler, the players of value were potentially lee and more importantly, an unprotected 1st from the team you talk a bunch of smack on, until it actually comes time to get their pick, then its garbage. It is way too early for you to be this salty. Seriously. do you just wake up bitter?
4.) 18 Jul 2016 16:51:31
The Knicks have nothing of interest for the Sixers. It would have to be a multiple team trade with Melo going somewhere else.
5.) 18 Jul 2016 17:23:33
Hamburger. The Knicks just signed half the average free agents in the league. So yes they are completely different now then a year ago when they were terrible. They still will struggle with chemistry with som many ball hogs on the same team but they will be around 35 to 40 wins and their " unprotected first is then mid first round. You don't trsde Okafor for lee and mid first and o Quinn. That's three most likely nobodies for a young center on a great contract who probably would be the Knicks best player in a year or two next to prozingus. So not a chance in hell is a pretty good description of that bs trade. i'd rather keep Oakfor as a bench piece then give him away for a bunch of junk.
6.) 18 Jul 2016 17:25:36
O and hamburger. I garrenttee you were more bitter then me in that post as it took three paragraph of you ranting about someone else being bitter.
7.) 18 Jul 2016 17:33:05
Maybe next year, when the sixers have to pay Noel and the Knicks pick go's high in the draft.
I like this for NY, but not a chance sixers do this now :-)
8.) 18 Jul 2016 17:34:10
Weird. didn't you just like 2 weeks ago claim Porzingis to be the most overrated player. That he hasn't done a thing, and until he rebounds more than 7 rebounds a game he's no where near Okafor and his legendary back to the basket game?
Its just odd. because now you say Porzingis will absolutely be better than him in the coming years. So hard to follow you. Just make bitter salty statements, no matter if they are consistant with prior statements.
Like what I say or not. at least I stay relatively consistent in my thoughts as to just changing them to disagree.
food for thought Mr. Salty.
9.) 18 Jul 2016 20:53:32
I didn't say absolutely. I said Oakfor is first or second best player on that team in a year or two. Prozingus even if he does the exact same season as last year is second best on the Knicks. Melo and prozingus as of now. But melo is getting old. Rose and Noah both old or injury prone. So yes prozingus will be the best player on a crappy team Ina year or two. That being said. If Oakfor went there prozingus will have to improve a lot to get anywhere close to Okafor In a Year or two. In other words Okafor would be the best player on that team unless prozingus, Who I already established is the best player on that crappy team ( in two years), Gets considerably better. Right now he's just an over hyped New York knick. I don't limit a guy like him in the future. But based on wat we've seen so far he's over rated. Damn you really need to hop off dude.
10.) 18 Jul 2016 20:56:36
No from both teams. Knicks are not moving Noah's $18M contract to the bench for Okafor, and Philly is not getting enough from this deal.
11.) 18 Jul 2016 21:45:35
Actually tre. if you actually read what you wrote. you said okafor will be the best player in a year or two NEXT TO porzingis. What that means is that he will be the second best player, because based off your sentence, porzingis would be the best.
So yes. Reading what you wrote. You said exactly that. Floppy McSalty Flop.
12.) 19 Jul 2016 18:50:45
Lol so you disagree with my trade saying I overvalue sixes players, but yet here you are proposing a trade sending Okafor to the Knicks for Courtney Lee and Kyle oquinn?!?!?! You are way over valuing those guys, Okafor is going to be a STUD, the only reason he's on the block is because of the bad fit on his current team and the plethora of bugs they currently have, Okafor would bring back the best return. Also the Knicks JUST signed Courtney Lee. Why in the hell would they trade him b4 he's played a game, I mean when has that EVER happened? That'll also put the Knicks in a bind bcuz there are no more worthy starting 2 guards left In free agency. This proposal in beyond retarded.

Annnnnd with that signing, I am officially done being a Knicks fan until entire management/ ownership is removed.
1.) 07 Jul 2017 19:46:01
There is still a chance Atlanta matches the offer. They have nobody else to spend the money on but its unlikely they do.
2.) 07 Jul 2017 21:08:33
This time last year the Knicks were giving an 4 year 80 million dollar contract to a guy held together by popcicle sticks and rubber cement and trading for a pg who struggles to get out of the couch. 2 weeks ago they were alienating their best young player and their only allstar. In the grand scheme of Knicks' ineptitude, this seems like a reasonable move.
3.) 07 Jul 2017 22:07:39
rkenne, I get what you're saying but those are at least explainable. Noah was one injury plagued year (should have been a hint), but he's 2 years removed from DPOY.
Rose was a high priced expiring contract, totally fine with that gamble.
And the Porzingis. that's just noise. Seriously, did you see what the knicks wanted? it wasnt real.
Hardaway is just a miserable offer. The knicks blamed Jackson for everything, and turns out. its the management as a whole. For a week, the knicks actually saw a bit of light coming into the organization. Moves like this bring it right back down to the crapper. A third grader could run this team significantly better.
01 Jul 2017 03:46:43
Now that George is done. like it or not, Celtics, cavs and rockets and wizards are going to be calling for melo. Hysterical!
1.) 01 Jul 2017 04:58:00
Good one burger. I agree totally.
2.) 01 Jul 2017 15:53:32
Can't wait for super troll to start bashing everyone else because his Celtics are doing awful the past month.
06 Jun 2017 18:36:08
For supercollider, based off his valuations.
Rozier and Bradley for Melo, Porzingis, the 8th and the 2019 and 2021 1sts.
It may be an undervalue of Rozier because of his massive improvements this year, as well as Bradley's undeniable offensive arsenal which can only be considered among the best in the league, and arguably the best defender in the league. but the Celtics are willing to make that gamble. Crazy as it may seem!
Yes its true, Rozier statistically is one of the worst players in the league.
Yes its true, Bradley is an expiring contract, made 1 1st team all defense, 1 2nd team, and then 3 or 4 years without it.
And yes, its true, that his team was actually much better defensively when he was off the court than when he was on it. and as a player had a solid negative impact for the year. but regardless, ITS AVERY BRADLEY AND ROZIER. LEGEDARY!
Eh scratch this trade. prob more likely to net Steph and Klay, right?
1.) 06 Jun 2017 19:22:42
This is so weird. something must be wrong!
During the regular season, the 1st place team in the East. Bradley was a -3.2 net rating. that's so odd. His team was actually better when he didn't play. Weird.
But hey, he prob did better in the playoffs right? Offense was about the same when on versus off. Defense.14.5 better when he was off.
SO WEIRD. But hey, legends are built on irrational emotions, not numbers and statistical evidence. YAY SUPERTROLL.
12 Dec 2016 16:41:12
All this Russell Westbrook talk. how is no one paying attention to the turnovers? he's on pace to break the all time turnover in a season record for both the ABA and NBA by about 50 turnovers. he's a stat machine, but I mean. at some point people need to pay attention to how careless he is being, no?
1.) 12 Dec 2016 19:26:08
He's a point guard whos doing a lot without very much help. He's going to have turnovers.
2.) 12 Dec 2016 22:49:49
I wouldn't say he is careless, just has a lot of attention on him and he's trying to do a lot so he'll get turnovers, but yes he does have too many.
3.) 13 Dec 2016 00:23:27
Yes he has the ball almost every time so turnovers will be there. Hard to criticize his flaws if he is carrying the whole team.
4.) 13 Dec 2016 00:54:42
Have to look deeper than that. He has the ball a ton (41.4 usage %) so he is going to have more turnovers. His turnover % is 16.6 (turns it over 16 times out of 100 possessions) which isn't good but not as bad as Harden (19.8%) and John Wall (17.1%) and Lebron is only slightly lower at 16%. He certainly isn't taking care of the ball well but is not historically bad in this regard, he is just getting a historically high usage rate (Kobe holds highest mark at 38.74% in a single season)
08 Jul 2016 19:33:10
So, there is essentially zero chance and reason for Saric to come over to the sixers next season. If he stays in turkey, hell make 2,3,4 times as much the next year coming. If he comes now, he's getting 4 years for 9 mil.
so heres the thing. Does this really effect the sixers? sixers fans. what's your thoughts/ feelings on this?
1.) 08 Jul 2016 20:24:46
Don't think It matters that much anyway it's only going to hurt Saric in the long run I think the sixers should trade his rights because he's not coming because he won't start
2.) 08 Jul 2016 20:35:44
I agree, twolves would gladly offer Bjelica, Jones and 2020 1st. Low ball sure, but its something.
3.) 08 Jul 2016 23:40:56
No matter where he go, he's not starting. This will hurt him but maybe the sixers can trade him.
4.) 09 Jul 2016 15:53:01
I trust the word or Dario. He will be here in 2 weeks. If Dario stays in Turkey, I will never post again.
5.) 10 Jul 2016 00:40:45
he just said he's coming over in a few days.
22 Aug 2021 22:09:00
I can’t say no enough. Simmons has no where near that value. Ingram is actually good. Simmons is the worst player in the league. Not even a debate on that.
22 Aug 2021 22:08:17
Hey pacers. Give us your assets. We will give you players that can’t make it in some b rate European league. What a joke.
22 Aug 2021 22:07:24
If the magic want cedi they need to pay. At least 2 more 1sts are needed. AT LEAST.
22 Aug 2021 22:06:46
This is hands down the worst trade ever posted here. Ever. Wow.
08 Jul 2021 12:16:20
More than Simmons and his inability to shoot 4 feet from the rim.
05 Jun 2018 16:11:09
literally no idea what you are talking about or referring to.
31 May 2018 19:08:47
I really don't see how lebron would be a good pairing with Harden. First off, they are both ball dominant. Hell, even Paul is. There isn't enough ball to go around. I think the Rockets would be far better going after George. Younger, better shooter, great defender, doesn't need the ball in his hands to impact the game.
24 May 2018 18:27:39
Why do you care?
22 May 2018 01:12:32
He also may not go to the Sixers because the Sixers best player is Embiid. And people seem to forget he’s one small trip away from yet another missed season. And if he go s to the Sixers, Simmons is worthless. Simmons loses tremendous value without the ball in his hand. He can’t shoot. Flat out.
It seems great on the surface. But idk if it’s actually a good fit.
14 May 2018 16:45:17
love, the 8th pick, and a massive amount of bench/ role players/ bad contracts won't net you that. Not even close.
Mccollum, Jordan, Harris, Beverly, williams and aminu? This is so dumb.
