Ok I am a true Celtics fan ever since Larry Bird was at the Helm! But what's up with the trade of Pistons Rodney Stuckey and Rasheed Wallace for Celtics Rajon Rondo & Ray Allen! Let's make this happen Danny!
Proposed 3-way trade between the Hornets, Raptors and the Bulls, before the July 1, 2009 expiration of the 08/09 season contracts (enhancing the salary tax impact for the Raptors)(Contract amounts are for 08/09):

Butler ($3.63M) James ($6.2M)
Tim Thomas ($6.05M)
Net effect: Reduces 09/10 team salary from approx $77M to approx $69M, by the insurance coverage for James at $6.6M and not taking the team option for O'Bryant. This brings the Hornets below the estimated salary tax for 09/10 (their objective in trying to trade Chandler during the 08/09 season), and provides them with a short term scoring big in Tim Thomas.

Pros: Can remain competitive even with Turkoglu gone, also get young talent, and Alston will get more playing time by leaving. They get explosive Nate Robinson. Many soon-expiring contracts.
Cons: Allen only has 2-3 good years left, and ownership pays about two million out of pocket to keep salaries even.

Pros: Loose Rondo and Allen is getting older. Get more role players. Alston is fast tempo and a great defender, and Pietrus is a proven defender. They have a little more money to offer when resigning. They also get slightly younger.
Cons: Might take part of the season to adapt to the new style of play.
*In the end, all their starting lineups, or at least chemistry improve.

Rumor the reason the talks between the Cavs and Suns are going slow is that the suns are trying to include Z and Amare. The reason being that z and ben wallace can be bought out as well as sasha. When the 2010 free agency hits they (Phoenix) will have 35 to 40 million to spend. They have Nash and a solid core and would sign two huge free agents(wade,bosh etc....) Cavs would get Amare and Shaq and Z would sign back with the cavs for league minimum since phoenix already bought him out, which he can do but would have to wait 30 days. The cavs would use their mid level exception on Rasheed wallace. 2010-2011 Finals Phoenix vs Cleveland.

Rumors were swirling around, about Raptors and Warriors having a verbal agreement over a sign and trade of Marion over to the Toronto Raptors and today it will be offical in a matter of minutes. The deal is said to be worth 47.5 million over 5 years.

I would sign Ben Gordon and packaged him with our two first round picks and trade them to the Toronto Raptors for Chris Bosh or spend that money Carlos Boozer. I would trade Luol Deng to Sacramento Kings and bring back Andres Nocioni. We need help real bad at the low post positions, we need another star player here to help Derrick Rose win games and bring home a championship.
If I was the Bulls I would try to trade up and get Blake Griffin. The Bulls should go after Shawn Marion, Trevor Ariza, Kobe Bryant, Tracey McGrady or bring back Ron Artest. We need more dominent big men and better scorers who can create their own shots. In the playoffs Ben Gordon and coach blew that game, they should sign Avery Johnson and fire Del Negro.
