LA, they get the best player in the deal while giving up an unproven player (Ingram), one with questions (Russell) and an average one in Deng.

It's not gonne happen.
But all teams could benefit in this trade

I like this trade for the Spurs.
Butler isn't K Leonard, but he's the next best thing, he's from Texas and they receive a young talented PG on a rookie contract for a few years, zo they can sign another good free agents.

I don't think Butler and Wade will work. Deng is a good 3-point shooter and he can play defense. Ingram could become the star when Wade retires.

LA does have a young core and they should only break that team up for a MVP candidate. K Leonard can bring other free agents to LA next year. They take the biggest and the smallest risk.

And it isn't like Kawhi doesn't have anyone. Clarkson and Randle will be above average starters for a 6-8 years.

That's a real interesting trade. I'd say the Spurs are clear winners since Butler although not as good a shooter is fairly similar player to Leonard (although didn't realize he is almost 2 years older) . In Russell they'd get a guy with superstar potential at a position of need and a coach like Pop could certainly bring him there and cut all the crap out of him. He is perfect age that while he is young Butler and Aldridge can run the show then they can pass torch to him in a few years.

Lakers I'd put second since they land arguably the best two way player in the league at the age of 25 and locked up long term. Dude is a quiet superstar without an ego so I don't know who wouldn't want to play with him. He is also versatile and would give Lakers a lot of possibilities moving forward. If they got a guy like Millsap or Ibaka then magically got CP3 or Lowry they could be scary good real fast.

The Bulls aren't getting a great offer for Butler but I don't think its bad either. They get a fan favorite in Deng back who is a good veteran who can still give starter minutes. He could tutor Ingram and allow them to not rush his development. Ingram looks to have superstar potential and can grow with Valentine and Portis to make next iteration of future Bulls team.
