Cavs off-season

Sign and trade for Paul

Minnesota gets shumpert

Cleveland gets Paul

The Clippers get JR Smith, a protected 2018 1st from Minn, 2021 1st from Cle, swaps in 20 and 22, and Felder

2nd trade

Cavs get George

Indy gets Irving

Resign Korver and Deron Williams

Try to sign Bogut and Allen

Go after Wade if he becomes a free agent and Bosh if he could potentially come back

Not enough salary going out from cleveland to obtain paul. also, you cannot have a 3 team trade for sign and trade, let along multiples of players.

1st trade is classic homer trade. Rather have Irving than George.

Don't think you can do 3 team sign and trades.

Minnesota's 2018 1st already goes to Atlanta.

And no way Clippers make that deal.

Clippers don't want JR if CP3 is leaving, they'll be blowing up the team.

And Minny doesn't want Shumpert.

I mentioned yesterday sign CP3 and trading Kyrie and Thompson. Cleveland is so far in the hole that they need to stay up or over threshold to stay title contenders. Because James runs that show.

Jaw. I hear what your saying about Love having more trade value than Thompson but Love is a better rebounder than TT, I know TT is a better blocker but I'd keep Love over TT any day. TT is only there because James made that deal happen, otherwise Griffin would have let him go. If CP wants to truly win he'll take less than max on a 2 yr. deal which would lower their cap significantly with Kyrie and TT gone. Cleveland has no future with James calling the shots if they lose, which they will tonight.

In a sign and trade, the Clippers would be looking at losing Paul for nothing, which is a fairly realistic scenario. The Teolves actually wanted Shump at the deadline according to a few major sports news outlets. I wasn't sure if you could bring in a third team or not, but I do know that you can trade multiple players on the receiving side. I don't think the Clippers would want JR, but to receive the picks they would have to take him on. I think at the deadline they could dump his salary without giving anything else up. I also think Paul would take less to go to a chance to win the title. The Cavs could take on around 25 million in the deal. Which is fairly close to Paul's max in free agency if he doesn't sign with the Clippers.

Irving for Paul just doesn't make sense for the Cavs Billj. It's a huge overpay if it's a sign and trade and doesn't really make the Cavs much better.

rk. I didn't disagree you.

Paul wants to play with LeBron, and although Kyrie Will light a team up with pts, CP3 distributes the ball better to open up the floor better, can score of the dribble and dish out the dimes. Just my opinion. It wouldn't be a sign and trade, Cleveland would most likely trade Irving for picks and player (s) and get a better return and just sign CP3. Cav's need to get younger.

Trade Love and TT to Boston for Olknick, Bradley, and Smart

Also Trade Irving, and JR to Pacers for PG 13 and Robinson.
