I think Spurs need something more for Leonard. Also if i was NY with Porzignis out this season, I would keep my picks and aim for 2019.

The Clippers aren't the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree, but no way they give up Jordan and take on Noah and Deng, plus deal with Ball's whack-job father -- all to facilitate a trade so the Lakers can get Leonard.

I think the Clippers could do this, if they can't land Leonard and P George themselves.
They have Gallinari's contract for two more years, so why not take on atoher bad contracts for young talents.
They can draft Knox with the NY pick and they would have two top five picks in (NY pick, their own pick is lottery protected)

Not very jerry west like move for clips. Clips will move and shake though. They are planning on a Jordan opt in. It plays into their favor because they won't lose a pick if they finish lottery, and they have decided to rebuild obviously. A deadline deal with Jordan to the bucks or wherever needs a rebounding defending center is a good option for them. Still may squeak into playoffs but why give Boston a pick?
