I like it, might require Clarkson, or Kuzma to make it happen, which Lakers would think about. Dengs contract is tough too. Deng is a good all around player, defends, dribbles, shoots, passes. Ball would get rid of Lavar pretty quickly, and OKC would block him.

The Thunder have Westbrook locked up for 5 years. They clearly aren't going to want to do a full rebuild. Why would they want Ball? He can't play beside Westbrook. If the Thunder are blowing up the Melo and George experiment, it might work with Igram or Kuzma, but not with Ball.

Melo no trade clause. PG13 free agent if he wants after season. There is 6 left weeks to show progress. If not, PG13 could leave with thunder having dealt future talent for nothing at seasons end. It is a possibility. Thunder have to trade with no leverage other than NBA trade rules.
