Miami and Chicago.
Mia gets Otto Porter Jr and Dunn
Chi gets Waiters, Dragic and Mateen.

So many reports about Dunn wanting out. Dragic and Waiters are huge upgrades in scoring.
Miami is on the hunt for a solid SF.
Porter fits that.
Just a thought.

No way Chicago takes on Waiters. No to mention that they were playing pretty well once Porter came in.

Miami and OKC
Miami gets CP3, Roberson, one first and one second.
OKC gets Dragic, Johsnon, Olynyk and Waiters

Why? Because OKC wants to rid themselves of CP3 and Roberson is coming off an injury.
Miami needs to rid themselves of their contracts and needs the pick to trade to Washington.

MIami and Washington.
Miami gets Beal and Wall.
Washington gets Winslow, CP3, KZ, Roberson, Leonard, 2 first round picks, one second.

Miami has been seeking Beal and rumors have it that they would have to absorb Walls contract too.
Washington needs youth, they switch and get an old healthier PG and rid themselves of wall who is suffering from a ruptured Achilles.
For Beal they are getting 2 first and one second picks, Winslow and other youth.
Washingron and OKC bothbget to rebuild and Miami gets to try and fight for the east

My opinion

It makes zero sense for OKC. Giving picks and taking long term contracts? Why? CP3 could be a great mentor for the young guys. If they trade him only if they get something back! For example expiring contracts and a first. So OKC would do nothing different than:

- Dragic
- Leonard
- take away protection of the Miami 1st in 2023

- CP3.

The word on the street is Miami wants one of its picks that OKC owns returned to take on Paul's contract.

There is also word that Paul is willong to opt out his last year in order to sign a 3 year extension at a lower number.

Since Westbrook went to Houston...
Miami and OKC
Miami gets CP3
OKC gets waiters and Johnson.

Well, OKC can have major cap space in the biggest free agency of stars in 2021 instead of having CP3 on the books holding them back.
Miami does it because they will have that improved backcourt they need.

Miami, OKC (total rebuild & massive cap space move for 2021 free agency.

Miami gets Westbrook, Gillinari.

OKC gets Olynyk, Winslow, Waiters, Johnson, Dragic.

OKC is in prime spot in draft and once 2021 comes all those are gone.
OkC will have enough time pitch 3 max free agents.
Miami gets to secure a playoff spot and compete for Eastern conference supremacy. They lose shooters but gain one in gillinari.

Miami Boston and OKC.
3 team trade.
Miami gets Gordon Hayward
Boston gets Russell
OkC gets Dragic and Johnson.

Miami gets another star type player to pair with butler.
Boston boosts their backcourt and goes for it all now.
OKC gets salary relief to rebuild. Plus they acquired all those picks from Clippers. They can do a full on rebuild.

1.) 07 Jul 2019 13:24:59
After what Boston went through with Irving, there's no way they'd make a move on Westbrook.

2.) 08 Jul 2019 20:41:00
And why does okc do this? Hard pass

Washington needs to rebuild, they overpaid Wall. They made a series of bad moves and have never scratched the surface. This gives them money in 2020 and 2021 which they do not have.
As for Love, it's because he can shoot and when healthy, he's a double double in his sleep.

We would be stuck with 3 aging folks in CP3, Butler and Love for at least 3 or 4 more years.
I like Love over CP3 though.
Dont know why Houston does it but I'd risk it if Beal isn't a possiblity.

I doubt Miami gets another center who can't shoot after all the Whiteside problems. And Herro is a pure shooter. doesn't make sense.

Dallas was horrible for their role in the failed trade. Miami will not make that trade under any circumstances.

Miami doesn't own their 2021 pick. The Clippers do. However I do like this.
