It would have to be both 2017 picks from the 76ers at least. Anything less isn't enough.

Just because he doesn't start for the sixers doesn't mean he wouldn't easily be another teams best big man upon arrival. You, as a celtics fan laying guys like olynyk, johnson and zeller, should understand this.

I agree that package is way light for a butler deal, but I'd think they could get away with only 1 of the 2017 picks

Wait wait wait. simmonsorbust. so the sixers, a bottom 3 team in the entire league. has a guy who doesn't get any minutes on that team. In fact, when he does. you always lose. And you are trying to claim he would be the best big man on a bunch of teams in the nba?
Hes not the top 2 center on an awful team.
but he's number 1 on a better team?

Defense isn't a myth. And okafor is awful. There is legit zero chance you can gain Butler for anything even CLOSE to that awful trade.

Phili has 4 assets that could be considered cornerstones for all stars. It would take two of them for butler.
Those assets are the two 2017 picks, Embiid (nearly untradeable), and Simmons (shouldn't trade) .
So the two picks make the most sense. Maybe include Noel instead of Okafor, since he has less value due to his contract.

First of all, they aren't bottom three and have been on an absolute tear in the past 10 or so games playing several games without embiid. Pay attention before trying to be a tough guy with false information.
As usual you clearly read nothing I wrote, or just didn't get it. I was saying that I agree that original package stated above was light, but that I thought a deal could be reached without including both picks (though I personally would consider giving both for a guy like butler or mcCullom) . This isn't ridiculous as the sixers have multiple picks/ assets and since they have been winning lately I would go as far to say that the 2019 Sacramento pick, noel, okafor etc may have more value then the sixers pick that is still up in the air as to where they will finish in a weak east with simmons still to make a return.
I'm not doing it, but feel free to go through all the teams and attempt to tell me that there isn't an argument to be made that he wouldn't start for atleast 7-8 of the teams including the celtics which was my original point.

I like this for the Sixers, but I believe Redick is a FA next year and the Sixers would not want to trade Okafor for Jennings

Lou Williams is not worth a 1st rounder. Especially not one for this year.
