If Rockets were willing to part with Paul (Send them Kyrie) Cavs could probably make it work by dealing Kyrie, Thompson and necessary pieces to make salary work. Not sure they should however. Not a fan of that team however. Their window would be relatively short and don't like how they'd matchup with Warriors with Wade and Melo being bad defenders and don't see the trades necessary to create this team helping the Cavs depth.
I do like the idea of Love at center. Cavs have used it in the past and i think its something they should use more since on offense it improves spacing and can get the opposing big away from the rim so he can't contest shots and rebound. Defensively Love isn't going to be good regardless where you put him and teams will still run pick and rolls with his man but centers with a post up game are a dying breed and teams shy away from post ups altogether so I think the damage is minimized.
