No Mitchell+Simmons per Rose Rule.

2.) 14 Jul 2022 15:36:07
forgot Westbrook to Nets then I guess Simmons should go to Utah for more draft picks.

3.) 14 Jul 2022 16:22:40
Your trade fails because Utah cannot take that much salary back, and then you want to add Simmons salary also? There are at least 3 sites that have trade testers out there, including espn, realgm and fanspo. try them, instead of wasting time with trades that can't possibly happen.

Blazers Kuminga

Warriors 2 future 1st dp

Blazers fix the sf position

warriors can possibly get 2 top 10 picks in the future

Ca

1.) 03 Jul 2022 13:07:59
a bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush. Warriors are defending a championship, not rebuilding. Very few teams do the draft and DEVELOP better than Golden State. Kuminga is a future star and likely better than anyone who gets drafted after the first 2 or 3 picks.

2.) 03 Jul 2022 13:16:48
Sharpe doesn't fix the SF positiom?

3.) 03 Jul 2022 14:34:15
Kuminga better then sharpe.

4.) 03 Jul 2022 17:45:03
Windrapsfan, Kings just signed GS's Development coach to be an assistant coach under Mike Brown.

5.) 03 Jul 2022 20:51:45
Kuminga > Sharpe NOW. who knows 5 years from now what happens.

6.) 03 Jul 2022 21:12:31
@Fredman - I didn't know that and that would be a good move for the Kings. I would expect GS to replace him with someone as talented though, because its a franchise culture more than credit to one guy. When Bobby Webster was asked about trading OG for the #7 pick his answer was he didn't think they'd get anyone as good as OG at the 7th. I think the same applies here. Chances of the Warriors finding a better player than Kuminga in those picks is pretty risky, especially since the timeline (and tolerance for luxury tax) says they need to play these guys this year to develop them as the next core. Future picks aren't going to ready when Klay and Draymond and Steph start to drop off and need more support.

If lakers keep Westbrook and let him run his contract out how much capp lakers will have in 2023 offseason?

Ca

1.) 12 May 2022 15:39:53
This is really hard to answer because it is dependent on what contracts are signed this off season that impact the following seasons (AKA if they sign someone now to a multiyear deal during this upcoming off season) .

Resigning Lebron will also have an impact on this answer as well.

So the best answer would be if THT opts in to his contact for 2023-2024, then currently the Lakers would have only 2 players under contract (Davis and THT) at $51.6 mil. The salary cap for 2023-2024 is projected to be $128.1 so there is $76.5 mil available.

Now signing Lebron at max (35% of salary cap) would be around $44.8 mil. That would leave the Lakers with needing to fill at least 10 other roster spots with a cap space of $31.7 mil.

Now I am also leaving out the salary for 1st round draft pick that the Lakers currently has, but even if that is traded, there will still be quite a few vet-minimum players being added fill out the roster.

I'm hearing twolves might trade D'Angelo Russell

is there a way lakers can get Russell in a trade? can Westbrook have a bounce back season and push wolves to playoffs next year

Ca

1.) 06 May 2022 15:11:10
Meybe if LA offers the 2027 and 2029 pick.

16 Apr 2022 16:45:14
If lakers can't trade Westbrook I'll say he stay 1 more year and we should have cap space him LeBron are free agents in 2023 they resign LeBron and better role players

Ca

1.) 16 Apr 2022 20:07:57
Totally depends on what amount you resign LeBron for. If it is the max ($50 mil), then you will have 3 players (Lebron, AD and TGT) for the 2023-24 season under contract at over $100 mil. So the Lakers will roughly have around $28 mil in cap space + MLE to sign 12 players. Good luck with that!

I remember making a trade cj McCallum to new Orleans and yall disagree look now

Ca

1.) 08 Feb 2022 15:51:54
i still don't get it.
Why would NO trade for an older and injury prone guy?

This seems a panic move to me.

2.) 08 Feb 2022 16:31:30
I don’t get the injury prone comments about CJ I’ve seen recently. He’s missed a few games the last two years, but both were contact injuries that shouldn’t be long term. He’s been really durable over his career.

3.) 08 Feb 2022 16:38:14
@Gasupo. What did New Orleans really give up? Hart and a first? Plus, McCollum is an actual good piece to got with Zion and Ingram. Defense is going to be this team's man issue though.

4.) 08 Feb 2022 18:13:22
Lol I thought of your trade. I thought it was stupid for NOLA then, and I think it’s stupid now. But congrats for predicting that David Griffin would do something moronic.

5.) 08 Feb 2022 22:28:23
Congrats on thinking your worthy of being a GM or an analyst lol. Man predicted a trade and you are still saying it’s not believable. Pelicans made a move giving up a nice player who won’t be a star in Hart for a guy that can win 5-10 games a year on his own. Sounds like they’re trying to be competitive so if Zion is healthy he won’t ask to leave

6.) 09 Feb 2022 17:26:39
@sheeee I don’t recall saying that a trade that already happened is not believable, I merely said that it was a dumb move. Giving up the first round pick and NWA is much more costly than just Hart. All that for a guy who is on the wrong side of 30 and very expensive. If Zion was playing this year, then I’d understand wanting to gear up for the playoffs. But with no Zion, I don’t really understand sacrificing a lottery pick right now. Just seems like a panic move to me that will hurt them in the long run.

2022 offseason If Portland wants to win and keep Lillard happy they need to pull a GS and tank get a top 5 pick then make a big trade with the pick they should be able to make a couple moves with the pick while keeping Lillard and McCallum

Ca

1.) 02 Jan 2022 19:14:20
Of course, what 31yo superstar wouldn't be happy playing for a team trying to lose?

2.) 02 Jan 2022 21:09:29
Portland should commit to a rebuild. They are not going anywhere.

3.) 02 Jan 2022 22:21:46
They should trade Lillard for another stud young player to pair with that high pick they’re getting.

4.) 04 Jan 2022 21:51:48
Well, Dame is hurt and has been for years from his own words. I’d love if they shut him down for the season, traded RoCo, Nurkic, and McCollum; and rebuilt around the pick, Dame, and what is left/ acquired. I don’t want to see McCollum come back another year, especially with Powell and Simons to take his spot.

Portland should commit to a rebuild, but one around Lillard. I wouldn’t trade him unless he absolutely demanded it. He’s the Kobe of Portland. He’s that important to the city. He should never leave.

5.) 05 Jan 2022 18:49:04
That's the problem Bmiller, keeping a player for sentimental reasons, but keeping Lillard at his age and future salary is going to be a major mistake. And if that happens, it will only show you that Portland's ownership is not committed to winning.
