Too many people are saying that the "sell price" for OG is 2 firsts and a young talent.

But too many people are also saying that the "price" for OG is too high as well. At these "prices" I seriously doubt anyone trades for Raptors players.

For Toronto that's a very generous offer for OG if the Raptors were thinking of a rebuild. They're not. Anunoby is too important to the core already built, and won't be traded unless a blow it up decision is made.

Terrible deal for raptors og I'd worth much more.

Lakers need Lonnie Walker more than they need Jae Crowder.

2.) 30 Nov 2022 06:32:18
Magic not gonna give up Isaac for that.

3.) 30 Nov 2022 10:34:57
Lol why should Sacramento so this? Tell me one reason.

4.) 30 Nov 2022 12:31:01
Sacramento would consider this because Barnes is a free agent after the season and he’s averaging his lowest PPG in his five seasons in Sacramento this season. Think a situation like the Niko Mirotic trade in 2019 where the Bucks essentially traded four second round picks for half a season of him. As for the claim the Lakers need Lonnie Walker’s scoring more than they’d need Jae Crowder, that’s fair it’s just I believe a true 3 and D presence would give them another dimension. As for the three guys I listed after words in Washington, Hachimura, & Reddish, it’s important to note that Walker will be an unrestricted free agent with no bird rights this summer & the other three guys will be restricted free agents with bird rights. Those three provide better upside than Lonnie in my opinion.

@Knickerbocker. Yes, Harrison Barnes is a free agent, but this trade essentially brings nothing back to the Kings. Nunn and Beverly would probably never make it on the court behind Fox/ Huerter/ Mitchell/ Monk and the seconds owned by the Lakers are not great and the Kings already have a slew of 2 seconds in their possession. So to be honest, it would be better to just keep Barnes who still contributes something than take these pieces from the Lakers that contribute nothing. The Kings are not going to just give Harrison Barnes away.

Lakers/Jazz/Hornets/Knicks

Lakers get:
* Terry Rozier ($21.4M, 4 yrs)
* Bojan Bogdanovic ($19.5M, 1 yr)
* Evan Fournier ($18.0M,3 yrs;club option Y3)
* Rudy Gay ($6.1M, 2 yrs)

Jazz get:
* Derrick Rose ($14.5M, 2 yrs; club option Y2)
* 2023 unprotected 2nd (CHA, via UTA)
* 2027 unprotected 1st (via LAL)

Hornets get:
* Malik Beasley ($15.5M,2 yrs;club option Y2)
* Cameron Reddish ($5.9M, 1 yr)
* Kendrick Nunn ($5.2M, 1 yr)

Knicks get:
* Russell Westbrook ($47.0M, 1 yr)
* 2023 unprotected 2nd (LAL, via CHI)
* 2029 unprotected 1st (via LAL)

Lakers trade the picks with Westbrook and they acquire a more complimentary point guard, as well as two lethal shooters. Jazz get another first round pick for Bogdanovic to add to their stockpile of picks collected this summer. Hornets prioritize cap flexibility and trade Rozier, who has four years remaining on his contract, for three young rotational pieces all on expiring contracts. Knicks acquire a very valuable first round pick for their rebuild, while getting off of Fournier's guaranteed two years, opening up the necessary playing time for Quentin Grimes.

Lakers pass. There are multiple reports that say the Lakers are not interested in future salaries and will only trade 2 firsts fir all-star player like Kyrie.

2.) 20 Sep 2022 17:39:48
Lakers rather keep the pick and let Westbrook expire.

No, if they trade Mitchell they would only have 3 so maybe someone like Highsmith would go to OKC as well, and then for the remaining 6 players you waive Jared Butler in favor of Gabe Vincent and get buyouts for both Patrick Beverley & Rudy Gay so they can sign with contenders. You’re then stuck with a full depth chart of the following.

PG Mike Conley / Jordan Clarkson / Gabe Vincent
SG Tyler Herro / Malik Beasley / Leandro Bolmaro
SF Max Strus / Duncan Robinson / Nickeil Alexander-Walker
PF Bojan Bogdanovic / Jarred Vanderbilt / Nikola Jovic
C Omer Yurtseven / Walker Kessler / Udoka Azubuike

Decently talented team that would be contending for the play-in tournament and you’re set for a rebuild without entirely falling off a cliff, because you know how it is to start winning again when you flat out suck.
