i wouldn't make this trade if i was houston. i think they are better off with pj’s defense and ariza is better for their team than melo bc he doesn't have an ego getting in the way of him being a good role player.

Give Lou Williams to OKC and I think it's actually pretty solid if OKC feels like they need to move George. Jordan's time in LA seems to be running short, if they can land a lottery pick and a little extra for him and Williams that seems pretty good and the Thunder get back an allstar to play next to Russ and Williams who can give them the extra pop they need off the bench.

It's not terrible for the OKC. I don't think there will be my big offers for George. He's really good, but there's a ton of risk involved and he's not a guy who has top 10 talent. Honestly, I'm not sure if the Bucks can take that risk. If he walks, it would be a huge hit to keeping Giannis long term.

The fact that the pick is either lottery or top 10 protected and OKC probably has no plans to tank makes me think this isn't the return OKC is looking for. Plus, with how young Boston is and the depth they have on the wing, it seems like an unnecessary risk.
