Boston trade G YaB -J Bird and their first round pick 2018
Clippers- Lou Williams

This years 1st makes the most sense. I'm not sure about Lou being made available. If all of ATL is available, T. Prince would fit in nicely in BOS.

Boston trades Guerson Yabusele and Boston's 2nd round
Charlotte trade Jeremy Lamb

Rad23

1.) 21 Jan 2018 10:05:20
Absolutely not from Charlotte. Lamb is finally playing to potential, and is only on the books for $7.5M next season, which makes him a relative bargain. It's going to take something better (ie. Memphis 2019 1st instead of the 2nd) to get the Hornets to consider it.

2.) 21 Jan 2018 16:30:35
Lamb is having a good year, but when the roster is healthy he doesn't get much playing time. maybe a lil sweetener in the offer would make a difference. But would he get minutes for the C's?

Probably best if he got dealt to a different team.

AD to Boston when he hits free agency looks better everyday Horfords contract will finish then ,with a nucleus of Irving ,Hayward, brown,Tatum plus coach Stevens and still a lot of draft picks makes them attractive place to be. Pels can still pay the most money but what chance are they to be a force in 2-3 years ,I wouldn't doubt GWS could wiggle a few moves to make a pitch

Said he wants to go home to Chicago on a cheap deal he already has bank from other businesses from tech things.

2.) 25 Oct 2017 21:05:07
Even if they go into 2020 offseason (Davis would have to opt out that year) with out having anyone, but Irving, Hayward, Brown's cap hold and Tatum on the roster (which is highly unlikely since they'll resign Smart, Yabulese will still be their, they have a few high picks before then and i'd imagine they would still have a few left over vets) that's atleast 100 million dollars already on the books. Even if we see a 25 percent increase in the cap that would give them less than 25 million in cap space. Davis's max will be close to 40.

3.) 26 Oct 2017 17:34:06
ad to gs, wow i like the sound of that. they would have to not resign klay and draymond but i think its worth it. AD + twilighting steph and kd would be awesome.

Wow Boston have looked really flat picking up way too many fouls be interesting what change they make

1.) 24 Jan 2018 14:16:00
Lakers put up an excellent offensive performance. Can't do that every night.

17 Jan 2018 20:33:37
Wow a lot of sites are giving it to Marcus Smart Yes his shot can be off at times yes he has flopped before But the guy gives 100% every game good assist s lock down defender great team mate I don't regret C's drafting him

Rad23

1.) 18 Jan 2018 06:21:54
He gets sh*t, but I think his shot has improved marginally this season. He's tenacious on D, and even though having to deal Bradley out of necessity, keeping Smart I think was the better choice. He, and Bradley are both tough. Would have not been a fun decision for a GM. Bowen, and Sefalosha were both D guys that had to work on their shots. Smart is ahead of them early in his career shot-wise.

When we talk about steals in last years draft Mitchell,Kuzma remember Boston not only got Tatum they also got the lakers pick which is looking more like 2-5 range

Rad23

1.) 01 Jan 2018 20:57:10
Lakers, like BKN have many reasons to win as much as possible. The only 2 of the 8 worst teams as of now, I see with that motivation. While I consider a true lottery pick 1-8, I put these teams at 10+ in the lottery which to me are gamble picks typically like the two guys you mentioned above. No one saw Mitchell, Kuzma coming, except some good scouting, or insider deals. I liked Mitchell, just thought he couldn't shoot. I was wrong. Kuzma I thought would have trouble with NBA defense. I was wrong. Lakers have played good teams tough, and lost some dumb ones. Randle has been starting, and Lopez will be back soon. Randle has good chance of being dealt at deadline. Clarkson, there is no need to. Can do it after playoffs, before draft. Jeannie/ magic aren't newbies. BOS is unlikely to get a 2-5 pick. No matter how badly BOS wants it. There's 40+ games to go. Lots can change. Lottery balls could go BOS way, on a slim margin, but the 80% it's at right now I believe will change come June.

2.) 01 Jan 2018 21:33:46
It was a great move for them. It'll be interesting to see how good a healthy Fultz can be. If he isn't a star at some point Philly is probably going to be slapping themselves for the next 10 years.

3.) 02 Jan 2018 21:52:59
Well the draft lottery is in Chicago it’s rigged for the bulls big market silver feels for us fans about garpax just like how we got drose in 2008 it’s rigged.

A lot of these players that have lefted the Boston (brad Stevens and coaches) system haven't played so well Evan Turner, Jae crowder, Kelly O (apart from his game against Celtics) Amir Johnson. Be interesting how Isaiah Thomas goes.

Rad23

1.) 30 Dec 2017 14:28:46
I think since IT will have the ball in his hands, it will be a smoother transition. I don't think he touches last years stats, but the Celtics offense last year was IT or bust. As for some of the other exCeltics, Turner playing next to two ball dominant guards was never a recipe for success. He's at his best creating and playing on the ball. Crowder seems to be starting to find his place with the Cavs, but its taken time since his role on offense is significantly diminished with the Cavs and Olynyk is basically the same player he was with the Celtics.

2.) 31 Dec 2017 11:27:10
I forgot Jonas j also he was playing great in the system.

3.) 01 Jan 2018 21:05:34
I thought Amir has played well defensively, overpaid a little. IT hasn't played a game yet. Olynyk has been shooting well lately, and highlighted as needing more looks by heat media lately. Turner is absolutely a good example though. He is awful. I don't see how he was paid 18mil for 5 years. Portland though, they sort of have a habit of that.

What position and what player will celtics strengthen up with the disable player exemption

Rad23

1.) 19 Nov 2017 11:02:06
Can't see Boston making a move until around the All-Star game. By then they'll have a good idea about depth at each position. More importantly, they'll know where they stand against the Cavs, and how they can exploit Cleveland's weaknesses. Corey Brewer isn't getting many minutes with the Lakers. He's only 31 and might have enough left in his legs to defend James for short stretches in the playoffs. The other option is to bring in a banger if Baynes runs out of gas or gets nicked up.

2.) 19 Nov 2017 16:42:34
I think they need more scoring. Similar to their team last year (since Hayward got hurt), I just don't see who is going to score during crunch time in the playoffs outside of Irving. They need another player who can come in and consistently create his own shot. If they don't go after another star this year, someone like Lou Williams would be a nice addition.

3.) 20 Nov 2017 09:51:41
What about Monty Ellis he can get buckets or if deng gets bought out maybe try him.

4.) 21 Nov 2017 19:33:19
I don't think Ellis has enough left at this point.

5.) 22 Nov 2017 08:20:26
Maybe 2 years ago, I just don't think he has much left at this point. His production was slowly dipping for years and then last year, he was significantly worse and so far
This year he's fallen off a cliff. If he gets bought out, he may be worth a try, but I think Boston needs a guy that can come in and give them 15 to 20 opposite Irving most nights and doesn't need sets or Irving to get it. That's why I mentioned Williams, he can do it and he would be fairly cheap. Theoretically, if the Lakers want to get rid of Clarkson, he could be another option.

If Cavs play like they did today against rockets Wilt Chamberlin wouldn’t save them.
