Boston trade G YaB -J Bird and their first round pick 2018
Clippers- Lou Williams

1.) 03 Feb 2018 15:13:56
This years 1st makes the most sense. I'm not sure about Lou being made available. If all of ATL is available, T. Prince would fit in nicely in BOS.

21 Jan 2018 07:30:29
Boston trades Guerson Yabusele and Boston's 2nd round
Charlotte trade Jeremy Lamb

1.) 21 Jan 2018 10:05:20
Absolutely not from Charlotte. Lamb is finally playing to potential, and is only on the books for $7.5M next season, which makes him a relative bargain. It's going to take something better (ie. Memphis 2019 1st instead of the 2nd) to get the Hornets to consider it.

2.) 21 Jan 2018 16:30:35
Lamb is having a good year, but when the roster is healthy he doesn't get much playing time. maybe a lil sweetener in the offer would make a difference. But would he get minutes for the C's?

Probably best if he got dealt to a different team.

AD to Boston when he hits free agency looks better everyday Horfords contract will finish then ,with a nucleus of Irving ,Hayward, brown,Tatum plus coach Stevens and still a lot of draft picks makes them attractive place to be. Pels can still pay the most money but what chance are they to be a force in 2-3 years ,I wouldn't doubt GWS could wiggle a few moves to make a pitch

1.) 25 Oct 2017 20:41:30
Said he wants to go home to Chicago on a cheap deal he already has bank from other businesses from tech things.

2.) 25 Oct 2017 21:05:07
Even if they go into 2020 offseason (Davis would have to opt out that year) with out having anyone, but Irving, Hayward, Brown's cap hold and Tatum on the roster (which is highly unlikely since they'll resign Smart, Yabulese will still be their, they have a few high picks before then and i'd imagine they would still have a few left over vets) that's atleast 100 million dollars already on the books. Even if we see a 25 percent increase in the cap that would give them less than 25 million in cap space. Davis's max will be close to 40.

3.) 26 Oct 2017 17:34:06
ad to gs, wow i like the sound of that. they would have to not resign klay and draymond but i think its worth it. AD + twilighting steph and kd would be awesome.

I wonder what happens if Kawhi is told by spurs we are not trading you under any circumstances will he play or sit out a year with some sort or existing injury

1.) 20 Jun 2018 02:42:40
Not offering the 219 mil extension will mean they are trading him. Leonard wasn't playing any games from I have gleaned. Spurs doctors cleared him, his didn't and he didn't feel right. It only hurts his market value to not play. I don't think Leonard is stupid or has acted stupidly. Spurs aren't going to get less by playing a mind game of not trading him if that's what this has finally come to. That would be stupid.

15 Jun 2018 08:13:24
Starting to worry about the Kyrie situation I was all in he was staying Pay him the max but the last interview/ press conference his body language and answers were not giving me confidence he wants to be there .If that's the case put a package together with him & draft picks for KAT

1.) 15 Jun 2018 14:23:42
I can't see the Twolves being interested in trading KAT for a package centered around Irving. They control KAT for probably 4 more years and Irving can walk this summer. He's already wanted out of a team that's been to the finals the past 3 years and now seems less than sure about staying with another team that's about to be really good.

If I'm Minnesota, I want the sun and the stars for KAT. Something like Brown or Tatum, Irving or Heyward, and either the Sac pick or both the Clippers and Memphis pick.

2.) 15 Jun 2018 15:48:59
I agree with Rad23.
Nothing Irving said gave me confidence that Irving is completely on board in Boston. He may be, but didn't sound that way.
Ainge has to have a long talk with Irving and his agent. If they won't drink the green Kool-Aid, then it's time to at least consider trading him. If they say that he will agree to a max deal a year from now, then everyone can stand down and move forward.

3.) 15 Jun 2018 16:27:42
He gets more money waiting until he's is expired. An extension costs him money. Opposite of k. leonard. Around 40 mil. He's not planning on leaving.

4.) 16 Jun 2018 19:32:03
A lot of Reports say KAT wants out of minny . Butler and Kyrie are best mates also Kyrie put minny down as a place he would like to go . Kyrie and first round picks is best package going around.

5.) 16 Jun 2018 20:13:18
It doesn't matter if he wants out. You have a year to fix the situation. If he still wants out, he is a restricted free agent. Force him to take the qualify offer over a max extension. Chances are he'll choose the max rather than risk it. Taking on Irving is a much riskier scenario for them. He could leave, he's injury prone, and KAT has far more upside.

6.) 18 Jun 2018 01:25:28
I'd love to see Towns in Beantown. But not trade Irving, trade Brown 1st rd picks with a couple of fillers.

Save Kyrie for the trade deadline and if he wants out then trade him for a 1st rd pick or a cheap contract or two like a another Morris like player under control for a couple of years.

7.) 18 Jun 2018 15:42:18
Why would celts trade the only other than nader and their starting SG for a Center? Doesn't make sense.

10 Jun 2018 07:28:44
With all the talk about where Lebron might end up surprised that Detroit was never mentioned would have a awesome front court with griffin, Drummond,James

1.) 10 Jun 2018 14:00:17
Detroit is a mess. Lbj could resurrect that probably, and those 3 would be good but I can't see Lbj winning a championship without serious help brought in other than those 3 to really make things happen. One Griffin injury and its kaput.

2.) 10 Jun 2018 17:51:11
Neither guy can shoot or spread the floor all that well, are at their best with the ball in their hands and clog up lanes. The had trouble playing with each other. Throwing Lebron into that is just going to make both players less efficient. The team in general lacks shooting. It's about as bad of a fit as you can have for a player like Lebron.

3.) 11 Jun 2018 00:21:11
Not to mention the Pistons already have over $113million comited for next year. I don’t see James playing for the Vet min.

08 Jun 2018 14:01:02
Which NBA player brings more financial wealth to their team LBJ, Westbrook,Curry,Harden

1.) 08 Jun 2018 17:02:00
Curry and Lebron are 1 2 in jersey sales. Lebron is number 1 in shoe sales, not that that has anything to do with the team, but just kind of proves he moves me merchandise. The Cavs and Warriors are the 2 biggest draws in the NBA. Lebron does more than anyone in the league to help his team win. It's Lebron followed by Curry and then a wide gap before anyone else probably even comes in to ththe picture.

2.) 08 Jun 2018 20:57:09
Who's the cheapest?

3.) 11 Jun 2018 14:51:04
Doesnt MJ still sell kore sneaker today than any player?

25 May 2018 10:17:03
Any ideas how Celtics can keep this roster together is it just a case of paying luxury tax

1.) 25 May 2018 11:46:48
I say they should let Smart walk if he gets a long-term offer over $14m a year. They can find a cheaper replacement for him in the draft or free agency.

2.) 25 May 2018 15:07:35
If the Celtics do anything, it will probably be with the bottom of the roster. Nader, Monroe and Larkin are probably out. If they don't stash their No. 1 in Europe, he'll get one spot. That leaves a few openings. Wouldn't mind seeing Isaiah Thomas on a one-year MLE if he doesn't whine about coming off the bench.

3.) 25 May 2018 17:29:30
They have a few years before they have to worry too much. Smart is probably gone, but Rozier has taken the backup PG spot anyway once Irving is back. Brown and Tatum are 2 and 3 years away from extensions. By that time, Horford's deal will be up. He won't get another 25+ million deal. Either he takes a paycut to stay, or they have to replace him. Either way, in 2020 Boston is probably paying big money to Irving, Brown, Tatum, and Hayword. They should be able to afford that, even if they end up in luxury tax, it shouldn't be Cleveland level lux tax.

4.) 26 May 2018 18:52:08
In 3 or 4 years, they'll be paying heavy taxes and I'm sure they're fine with that. They most likely won't be in the luxury next year, they're a big market team and they've been pretty physically conservative for the past 5 or 6 years, which means they've been making a ton of money. Outside of packaging assets for a big possibly, the only real roster move they'll need to make is decide which 2 of their 3 pgs are they keeping long term and it's most likely between, do you trade Rozier or let Smart walk. It won't be hard financially to keep the core together for the next 7 or 8 years. Once Brown and Tatum are eligible for the super max that's when they need to worry. I'm sure they'd be fine winning a couple championships in the next 6 or7 years and then possibly figure out a soft rebuild around Brown and Tatum like the Spurs have done fairly successfully over the past 20ish years.

Harden isn’t moving any where if your trade went through harden and booker would be the worst defensive backcourt in the nba.

Too much of a overpay Bamba would be nice but come on Celtics don’t have to do much just try and resign current roster and get the players healthy ( Kyrie, Hayward, Theis)
