AD to Boston when he hits free agency looks better everyday Horfords contract will finish then ,with a nucleus of Irving ,Hayward, brown,Tatum plus coach Stevens and still a lot of draft picks makes them attractive place to be. Pels can still pay the most money but what chance are they to be a force in 2-3 years ,I wouldn't doubt GWS could wiggle a few moves to make a pitch

Said he wants to go home to Chicago on a cheap deal he already has bank from other businesses from tech things.

Even if they go into 2020 offseason (Davis would have to opt out that year) with out having anyone, but Irving, Hayward, Brown's cap hold and Tatum on the roster (which is highly unlikely since they'll resign Smart, Yabulese will still be their, they have a few high picks before then and i'd imagine they would still have a few left over vets) that's atleast 100 million dollars already on the books. Even if we see a 25 percent increase in the cap that would give them less than 25 million in cap space. Davis's max will be close to 40.

ad to gs, wow i like the sound of that. they would have to not resign klay and draymond but i think its worth it. AD + twilighting steph and kd would be awesome.

What position and what player will celtics strengthen up with the disable player exemption

Can't see Boston making a move until around the All-Star game. By then they'll have a good idea about depth at each position. More importantly, they'll know where they stand against the Cavs, and how they can exploit Cleveland's weaknesses. Corey Brewer isn't getting many minutes with the Lakers. He's only 31 and might have enough left in his legs to defend James for short stretches in the playoffs. The other option is to bring in a banger if Baynes runs out of gas or gets nicked up.

2.) 19 Nov 2017 16:42:34
I think they need more scoring. Similar to their team last year (since Hayward got hurt), I just don't see who is going to score during crunch time in the playoffs outside of Irving. They need another player who can come in and consistently create his own shot. If they don't go after another star this year, someone like Lou Williams would be a nice addition.

What about Monty Ellis he can get buckets or if deng gets bought out maybe try him.

4.) 21 Nov 2017 19:33:19
I don't think Ellis has enough left at this point.

5.) 22 Nov 2017 08:20:26
Maybe 2 years ago, I just don't think he has much left at this point. His production was slowly dipping for years and then last year, he was significantly worse and so far
This year he's fallen off a cliff. If he gets bought out, he may be worth a try, but I think Boston needs a guy that can come in and give them 15 to 20 opposite Irving most nights and doesn't need sets or Irving to get it. That's why I mentioned Williams, he can do it and he would be fairly cheap. Theoretically, if the Lakers want to get rid of Clarkson, he could be another option.

Can someone explain why James harden played so many minutes when clearly the game was over against raptors he needs to be managed better he is the heart and sole of that team

Great come back by the C's against OKC today what's the rule with celtics getting disable player exemption for 8.5 million does that mean if Hayward makes a miracle comeback he can't play or it doesn't matter if a player only misses certain amount of games

Rad23

1.) 04 Nov 2017 10:25:06
I'm not sure it matters. Hayward isn't going to be back
this year.

2.) 06 Nov 2017 16:20:36
Its not a given hayward isn't back this year. Not highly likely, but not a definite no. I had a similar injury. That type of ankle injury is FAR easier to come back then say a knee. Itll just depend on how quickly he heals.

3.) 07 Nov 2017 09:10:12
Yeah be interesting if they make finals against GSW if he would play that was my Question can he now play once they got the player disability?

Looking at payrolls for 2017/2018 Boston has 14 teams that have higher payrolls damm good management just need a centre now Who else do you think has done a good job with success and managing payroll?

The clear answer is the Spurs. They've been consistently a threat to win a championship for 20 years, they've always kept their roster flexible enough to go out and get players they need, when they do lose free agents they always have a guy they've developed to take his spot, they almost always resign players below market value, and they have been able to stay away from paying luxury tax consistently .

The Warriors also deserve a mention. The fact that they could go out and sign Durant was impressive. Obviously though, there was a lot of luck involved. Curry's injuries and Green's late development added with the timing of their contracts (a few years before the cap started rising at a ridiculous rate) helped them out a ton. It'll be interesting to see how they'll handle the roster once Durant, Green, Curry, and Klay are all making near max.

I think Gasol window for C’S is over now heading in different directions and bottom line you still got to beat Warriors I don’t think Gasol is the key piece they need.

That trade makes sense for both teams.
