BOS alternate plan

BOS-CHA

BOS acquire: Kemba Walker (s&t) max

CHA acquire: Gordon Hayward & MEM 1st round pick

CHA take Hayward for 2 yrs while gaining a good pick for Kemba (if he doesn't want to resign)

BOS offer Nikola Vucevic 4yr/84mil deal

BOS signings:

Elfrid Payton 2yr/12mil via MLE
Reggie Bullock 2yr/8mil
Jamychal Green vet min

G- Walker-Payton
G- Smart-Langford
F- Brown-Bullock-Ojeleye
F- Tatum-Green-Yabusele
C- Vucevic-Williams

Why is everyone posting Hayward trades? He's trash. To unload him you need more than one pick. Additionally, no team will send out quality players in return. Not even on S&Ts.
This trade also brings the hornets in the range of luxury tax.

MIN-SAC

MIN: 2nd round pick

SAC: Gorgui Dieng (2yrs in contract left), Josh Okogie, 2021 1st round pick (no protection)

SAC only do this if they strike out on FA's. They get 2 assets (Okogie & pick) for taking 2 years of Dieng. Pure salary dump for MIN

SAC

G- Fox-Ferrell
G- Hield-Bogdan
F- Bojan-Okogie
F- Bagley-Bjelica
C- Dieng-Giles

BOS-MIN

BOS: Jeff Teague & 2 2nd round picks (SAC/own)

MIN: top 20 protected 1st round pick in 2022

BOS do have the cap space and if both of their point guards leave, Teague could be a nice temporary starter for next year.

MIN dumped around $37mil in those deals setting up a D'Angelo Russell signing for 4yr/$95mil

MIN fill the roster with min guys

G- Russell-Jones
G- Culver-min-Reyolds
F- Wiggins-Bates
F- Covington-min
C- Towns-Gibson

Kings can't say yes fast enough.

2.) 26 Jun 2019 12:28:28
Kings don't even let Minnesota hang up and sets up a conference csll with NBA HQ.

The only problem is that it would have to be a 2020 1st because teams can not trade consectitive first rounders.

3.) 26 Jun 2019 15:46:40
I don't see teams trading completely unprotected picks unless they're teams like the Lakers. If minny misses the playoffs (very likely), their chances of jumping into the top 3 are much higher than before.

Where is Covington?

2.) 17 Jun 2019 15:59:40
Sorry, I didn't think anyone was dumb enough to put Covington behind Wiggins on a depth chart.

What if it is really true that Davis is only a one year rental for Celtics? Would they give up their assets for him? For the Lakers, if he really wants to be there, just sign him in 2020, keep young guys and develop them even as role players when they contend in 2020. If Lebron can't wait, it's his problem. For the Knicks, just keep your assets. Davis and Irving only can't win championships. I think Pelicans are too demanding and if they end up losing Davis for nothing, i wouldn't be shocked.

Psiphon

1.) 13 Jun 2019 01:32:42
He won't be a pelican by the 15th. I will be shocked if he is.

2.) 13 Jun 2019 01:39:09
If neither teams make an off then I believe the nets or clippers will.

3.) 13 Jun 2019 02:33:00
The Pelicans will be fine and they’ll find a good deal. They have no reason to give him up until they find the right deal. They hold the cards and have a bunch of teams interested.

4.) 13 Jun 2019 16:06:17
Considering that a dozen teams are making offers, if they lose him for nothing it would be the most colossal screwup in NBA history.

Also, if the Lakers are trying to sign someone and trade for Davis. If they sign Kyrie, they can’t sign Davis next year, it would have to be a trade. And Lebron isn’t getting any younger.

5.) 13 Jun 2019 16:10:44
Boston (and others) make offers because of historical precedent of players changing their minds. Garnett didn’t want to go to Boston either. Paul George was guaranteed to be a Laker. Kawhi is going to LA. Aldridge was going to resign in Portland. None of that ended up being true (maybe Kawhi, but I’m doubting it) .

6.) 14 Jun 2019 00:49:11
Kg approved the trade.

7.) 15 Jun 2019 01:13:22
He approved the trade, but there are a lot of interviews that he admits he really didn’t want to go there.

29 May 2019 08:59:59
This is purely a question please just give me your opinion. What if the Raptors win but Kawhi still decides to leave, will his jersey be in the rafters of Raptors? Just curious.

Psiphon

1.) 29 May 2019 13:01:23
One year not number retired.

2.) 29 May 2019 17:23:28
He'd be a legend in the city, but I wouldn't retire his number for one season.

I kind of hate number retirements anyway. Just honor them as a Hall of Famer for the team, or a ring of honor.

3.) 29 May 2019 20:16:39
They will do something for him it would be a big deal him bringing the first championship to Toronto, but i don't think they would retire his number after 1 season. They might have some kind of banner or something for him but not a retired number.

18 May 2019 01:57:23
Let's say Kawhi pull a Durant if they lose to Bucks and want to join them. What would the Bucks do to get him?

Psiphon

1.) 18 May 2019 05:03:28
Sign him.

2.) 18 May 2019 05:03:56
I think they have cap too.

3.) 18 May 2019 14:03:56
Say gpodbye to Middleton and possibly Brogdon.

18 May 2019 01:56:41
Did the Bucks just built a champion team?

Psiphon

1.) 18 May 2019 14:04:39
Eastern Conference CHAMPION, yes.

2.) 18 May 2019 16:57:12
Hopefully. Anyone, but GS.

13 Mar 2019 02:09:11
Am i the only one who thinks HOU could finish 1 or 2 in the West? They have an easier schedule compare to Denver.

Psiphon

1.) 13 Mar 2019 04:19:19
I do as well. They get my vote for the 2nd best team in the west. OKC is probably 3rd, Utah/ Por/ Den 4,5,6, LAC 7th, SA 8th.

2.) 13 Mar 2019 16:03:29
I think the top 5 could go in just about any order. Portland and Houston are playing great. OKC, Denver, and GS have slid a bit. It wouldn't surprise me if the Pacific division ended up coming down to the two games at the end of the season that Portland and Denver play against each other back to back.

Lakers should keep someone on their young players. C'mon let NOLA and Lebron f*** themselves.

Yes. Keep him and let him be Morant’s mentor instead of getting a useless Mozgov and an overpaid Fournier.
