NOLA sends Davis, Hill, Moore
- resign Curry for cheap, Aminu and Kanter at a discount?

Pg Lillard-Curry
Sg Moore-Turner-Trent
Sf Aminu-Hill
Pf Davis-Layman
Ce Nurkic-Kanter-Leonard

POR sends McCollum, Collins, Simons, Harkless (exp), 2 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks

Pg McCollum-Simons
Sg Holiday-Clark
Sf Johnson-Harkless
Pf Randle-Diallo
Ce Collins-Okafor

1.) 21 Feb 2019 02:29:22
Davis won't stick w/ Blazers.

2.) 21 Feb 2019 03:41:23
Good return for expiring unhappy Davis.

3.) 21 Feb 2019 04:10:17
2 years of McCollum at $27 mil per or 3 years of Tatum at $10 mil per?

If Boston offers Tatum for Davis, it is a wrap. Game over. That is the only real question about trading AD.

4.) 21 Feb 2019 04:51:40
Fredman why did you assume this trade was for next season?

5.) 21 Feb 2019 07:26:46
Jorga, because the NBA is past the trade deadline for this season. So it likely has to be for next season.

Also, Harkless doesn't become an expiring contract until next season as well.

Seemed kind of elementary that this trade would be after the end of this season which means that NO is only getting 2 years of McCollum.

6.) 21 Feb 2019 07:44:02
Children will play games.

7.) 21 Feb 2019 16:02:26
I think Irving walks so Boston don't trade tatum. The point is it's still a good trade but the Boston better.

8.) 21 Feb 2019 16:28:32
It depends on what else Boston offers NO. If it's Tatum, Hayward, and a first vs that Portland package? I might take Portland's deal. If Boston offers Tatum, Horford (expiring) and 3-4 firsts? Yeah, Boston wins.

9.) 21 Feb 2019 18:01:32
Tatum, Smart, Baynes, Kings 1st, Memphis 1st, Boston 1st for Davis

Tatum, Horford (opt in), Ojeleye, Williams, Kings 1st, Memphis 1st for Davis and Hill.

10.) 21 Feb 2019 19:18:11
Look at blazers line up. No shooting. Not a good trade.

11.) 21 Feb 2019 19:45:33

12.) 21 Feb 2019 20:44:21
Moore is an elite three point shooter. Lillard is too. Aminu is league average. Layman has been great lately with extended run, and just seems like a good shooter. Curry's 40%+. And Davis stretches the floor, even if it's not as far as the arc.

That's 6 solid shooters in that rotation.

That said, I'd start Layman and bring Aminu off the bench with that roster.

13.) 21 Feb 2019 23:12:43
Bmill I agree. But Ingram kuz ball and 4 first from the lakers would be better then tatum, horford and 4 first. and better then the blazer offer.

14.) 22 Feb 2019 12:53:45
Depends on how NO evaluate Ingram, Kuzma and Tatum. Most reports I have read day Tatum is the best young talent that NO can get back for Davis.

20 Feb 2019 07:19:27
If Kings do have a chance at keeping AD. Remember, only if they have a chance. No reaction if they don't have a chance please. Just want to know if they can offer something competitive without giving up Fox and Hield.

NOP sends Anthony Davis, Etwann Moore

SAC sends Marvin Bagley, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Harrison Barnes (opt in) & 2 1st round picks

NOP get a pair of young studs and a veteran forward

Pg Holiday
Sg Bogdanovic
Sf Barnes
Pf Randle
Ce Bagley

SAC finally lands a superstar that will play along with their 2 young back court guys.

They still have the space.

Sign Tobias Harris 4yr/115mil

Sign Bojan Bogdanovic 3yr/36mil

Pg Fox-Ferrel-Mason
Sg Hield-Moore
Sf Bogdanovic-Swanigan
Pf Harris-Bjelica
Ce Davis-Giles-Davis

1.) 20 Feb 2019 10:56:37
The Kings are building a team that has been timed to contend after the Warriors begin their decline. Their youth (Fox, Giles, or Bagley) are not on the table for any trades.

Counter offer: replace Bagley with Cauley-Stein, remove Moore, Bogdanovic, and one of the future picks.

2.) 20 Feb 2019 12:58:07
First, Mr. Sluggo, can't trade WCS because he is a RFA and a S&T cannot include other Kings players.

Secondly, I don't think the Kings have the cap space Psiphon is describing. They had $50 mil in cap space before the Harrison Barnes trade. His opt in of $25 mil eats up half of that space since the Sac-NO deal is fairly even on salary.

I think the Kings would be better keeping their young talent and draft picks and use their remaining cap space to go after Vucevic.

3.) 20 Feb 2019 14:59:26
I don’t like Vucevic as a target for them unless they’re letting WCS walk and committing to making one of Bagley or Giles a PF long term. Yes, I know both are/ have played the PF position this year, but I feel like both would be better served at the 5.

4.) 20 Feb 2019 18:31:31
Triangle. Vuceviv>>WCS.

Also, I think Giles needs to run with the 2nd unit a little longer.

Fox, Hield, Barnes, Bagley, Vucevic
Yogi, Bb8,?, Bjelica, Giles.

Caleb Martin with one of the 2nd rounders?

19 Feb 2019 11:25:02
UTAH 2019

draft day deal

UTA sends Exum, Favors, 1st round pick 2019, 2nd round pick

MEM sends Conley

UTA sign Paul Millsap if declined by DEN 2yr/25mil with player option

sign Tyreke Evans

Pg Conley-Evans-Neto
Sg Mitchell-Korver
Sf Ingles-Oneale-Allen
Pf Millsap-Crowder
Ce Gobert-Bradley

1.) 19 Feb 2019 12:01:59
The deal isn’t bad, but this looks like the apparent pieces that were in the deal pitched before the deadline that one of the teams passed on.

2.) 19 Feb 2019 20:45:01
I think Conley can get more than that.

Soooo. Utah is going to pick up Favors option for next year?

Also, not sure Utah has the cap space to sign Millsap after picking up Favors option and taking on more salary in Conley.

Unless that is 2yrs/ 25 mil (12.5 per) which is low what Millsap should get.

3.) 20 Feb 2019 16:30:42
It has to do with Mitchell getting a shot at PG still. Conley would take away from Mitchell. Utah chose Mitchell over Conley. Conley is bad for Utah salary situation too.

11 Feb 2019 16:46:46
Most likely to happen? Even if some sounds stupid or delusional :) next season

1. Kings and Cousins reunion. Cousins signs a 4yrs max contract

Pg Fox
Sg Hield
Sf Barnes
Pf Bagley
Ce Cousins

this team can make noise

2. AD stays in NOLA after resigning or he became a Clipper along with Kawhi Leonard

3. Derrick Rose back in Chicago, stays healthy and leads them back to playoffs

4. Rockets made CP3 available and someone bites (who do you think?)

5. No one goes to Lakers. LeBron declines.

6. Durant goes to Lakers :)

7. Cleveland gets number one pick again

8. Suns sign Kemba & one more big time free agent

9. Spurs trade Derozan

10. Timberwolves becomes bottom dwellers again in the West

11. Mitchell & Doncic become all stars

12. Dwayne Wade comes back

13. Kobe becomes LAL coach

14. Lillard or McCollum trade

15. NYK playoffs

1.) 11 Feb 2019 18:40:17
1. I Don't see it happening

2. The Clippers seem to have the assets to pull off a trade, that wouldn't be shocking at all. No chance he resigns in NO.

3. I could see that happening.

4. I think Houston would do anything. They run things very unemotionally. Maybe Orlando makes a bid if they re-sign Vuc? Nos sure they have what Houston would want, but they're someone that would try.

5. Feels very likely.

6. 0% chance. He wouldn't join another team to be called a coward. It's a lowly team that needs him like the Knicks, or it's back to GS.

7. AGAIN! Yep, they jump the Knicks and get Zion.

8. I don't see it. Maybe a big offer sheet player, but not an established all star.

9. The Spurs could do anything. Trading Derozan is definitely on the table.

10. This already happened? They're the third worst team in the west right now.

11. If both of these guys don't make it to 4+ all star games, I'd be surprised.

12. Nah, not after the tour he's had.

13. He'd be a hoooooorible coach. Too much of a perfectionist and too much ego to coach.

14. McCollum: 33%, Lillard: 0%

15. 2025?

2.) 11 Feb 2019 19:36:40
5 is the most likely to happen. But I am looking at "no one" as being "no star player". I can see Tyreke Evans signing a short term one year deal.

3.) 11 Feb 2019 20:43:40
Right Fredman, I was assuming no one meant no star.

4.) 11 Feb 2019 22:58:55
Rise ain't st as ying healthy.

5.) 11 Feb 2019 23:26:48
2. AD stays in NOLA after resigning or he became a Clipper along with Kawhi Leonard I wish but no to staying even w extension. Clips only hyave shot if Ainge gets weak

3. Derrick Rose back in Chicago, stays healthy and leads them back to playoffs nope

4. Rockets made CP3 available and someone bites (who do you think? ) Possible

5. No one goes to Lakers. LeBron declines. I'd love to see it but unlikely

6. Durant goes to Lakers :) maybe

7. Cleveland gets number one pick again Nope 1 outta 3 shot

8. Suns sign Kemba and one more big time free agent El Paso says Kemba

9. Spurs trade Derozan Good shot

10. Timberwolves becomes bottom dwellers again in the West Or at least close

11. Mitchell and Doncic become all stars Over time yes

12. Dwayne Wade comes back Why ask?

13. Kobe becomes LAL coach Nahhh

14. Lillard or McCollum trade L= Nope M =YEPP

15. NYK playoffs Within 3 years.

11 Feb 2019 11:18:51
LAL offseason

WAS get Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, KCP & 2019 1st round pick

LAL get Bradley Beal

LAL sign Draymond Green 4yr/90mil
sign Nikola Vucevic 4yr/80mil
resign Rajon Rondo
resign JaVale McGee

Pg James-Rondo
Sg Beal-Bullock
Sf Ingram-Stephenson
Pf Green-Muscala
Ce Vucevic-McGee

1.) 11 Feb 2019 14:24:45
Let's just say for arguments sake the wizards take that deal. What makes you think both Draymond and vuc are both going to take discounts in free agency?
Wouldnt draymond just take the discount to continue to playing with GS?

2.) 11 Feb 2019 14:31:20
Green not a free agent.

3.) 11 Feb 2019 14:34:51
K thompson and KD are the free agents, Green's still under contract.

4.) 11 Feb 2019 14:41:55
And KCP is an FA, not sure how you’re trading him.

5.) 11 Feb 2019 14:55:51
Just another Lakers fan who believes the teams "assets" have value. Outside of Lebron and Kuzma, there really is not much there.

6.) 11 Feb 2019 16:48:53
Wiz aren't going to trade Beal with Wall out. Beal would have to demand it, and that hasn't happened.

7.) 11 Feb 2019 19:26:15
20 a year for vuc is a discount?

8.) 12 Feb 2019 01:15:33
Shiller, I think $20 mil/ year for Vucevic is about right. Once the max slots are filled with the Durants, Leonard and Butlers of this FA class, not many teams with cap space will be looking to sign him. Drives down the asking price. Much like why Clint Capella only got $15 mil last season.

9.) 12 Feb 2019 14:05:02
Yes.20 mil is a discount. There's a ton of teams with money this year. It may be a bad move for whoever does it since Vuc clearly isn't a game changer, but i'd bet the house he gets more then that.

Capela was a different situation with everyone saving thier money for this offseason.

Okay guys, this is a question for each individual. Don't think of the salaries or anything. If you can select what teams top FA's would go, where do you want them to be? I mean, this is for you.

Durant- Knicks (make own legacy)
Irving- Celtics (be the leader of this growing team)
Leonard- Raptors (keep up on building this team and be the leader)
Klay- Warriors (why break up their brotherhood with Steph)
Butler- Clippers (prove himself in th spot light)
Cousins- Lakers (he can shine)
Harris- Utah (i just feel he is the perfect fit for Gobert and Mitchell)
Walker- Knicks (he deserves some spot light)
Russell- Nets (keep on being the leader)
Middleton- Bucks (just the perfect place for him)
Porzingis- Dallas (give him and Doncic the chance)
Vucevic- Kings (he'll be great with Fox and Hield)
Jordan- Clippers (i think this is the best place for him)
Rose- Bulls (come back kid)

1.) 19 Feb 2019 16:00:02
Durant- Nets
Irving- Knicks
Leonard- Clippers
Klay- Lakers
Cousins- Warriors
K Walker- Clippers
Harris- Philly
Russell- Nets
Porzingis- Dallas
Jordan- Knicks
Mirotic: Wolves
D Rose: Indy
Faried: Hou

A Davis to the Clippers
Beal to the Nets

Knicks draft Zion Williamson
Phoe draft: Morant
Was: Reddish.

2.) 19 Feb 2019 16:44:22
How can you disagree, it's a were do you want them to go question :-)

3.) 19 Feb 2019 18:32:44

All day

4.) 20 Feb 2019 12:48:31
That lineup has no outside shooting.

5.) 20 Feb 2019 16:39:58
Irving and Butler are both high end outside shooters. It might not be great, but they have some.

6.) 20 Feb 2019 18:58:38
Durant- Knicks (Gets to be the man on his team)
Irving- Knicks (Gets his number 1 option)
Leonard- Raptors (Best chance of playing for championship)
Klay- Warriors (The original trio will stay)
Butler- Clippers (prove himself in th spot light)
Cousins- Lakers (Lebrons dream center)
Harris- 76ers (Great fit next to Embiid)
Walker- Pacers (Could make them Eastern contenders)
Russell- Nets (Stays and helps get another all star)
Middleton- Bucks (just the perfect place for him)
Porzingis- Dallas (give him and Doncic the chance)
Vucevic- Pelicans
Jordan- Knicks (i think this is the best place for him)
Rose- Wizards (Has more years to give to playoff teams)

7.) 20 Feb 2019 20:52:50
Wizards are a playoff team?

8.) 20 Feb 2019 23:39:10
I believe next year they will be.

12 Feb 2019 09:45:31
Who's better?prime

Harden or Wade
AD or KG or Dirk
PG or Pippen
CP3 or Nash
Embiid or Duncan
Klay or Ray Allen
Westbrook or Rose
Draymond Green or Ben Wallace
Porzingis or Yao
Towns or Pau Gasol

1.) 12 Feb 2019 13:58:59
wade (more well rounded)
KG (better leader)

2.) 12 Feb 2019 14:28:10
Westbrook has a prime. Rose never really was good for 3 seasons.

3.) 12 Feb 2019 17:01:27
Good point. Thus he is the youngest to ever win MVP and lead his team to the best record in the NBA as what, a 21 year old? Go on.

4.) 12 Feb 2019 18:29:12
I agree with notdrainer on all of those. The only ones that are close are Paul vs Nash (I think I'd take Nash personally) and Wallace vs Green (they're basically the same person? ) .

5.) 12 Feb 2019 19:54:32
Russ isn't my fav but 3 years with triple double is 3 more seasons than rose had. Rose won one MVP so did russ but he keeps going and winning.

6.) 12 Feb 2019 20:56:34
I didn't take this as "Who had the better prime". I took it as "Who do you want for one season at their absolute best". In that case, Rose eeks out Westbrook in my eyes.

Thinking about it again, Porzingis and Townes in this probably aren't fair because they still haven't reached their primes.

7.) 12 Feb 2019 22:53:42
bmiller, i give the nod to Paul over nash because of the defense. Nash just never played it. Also, Wallace was solely defense and rebounding. He wasnt the passer or shooter that green is. Yes, green is having a down year, but he is an incredibly well rounded player.

Shiller, if you think those basic stats are all that matter, well, ok? However, while westbrook has put up those stats, at an ever decreasing efficiency, his team was never in the top 5 in the league. In fact, he isn't even considered the MVP of his own team currently, that's clearly PG13. Rose, as a 21 year old, led the bulls to the best record in the league. AT 21!. Even assuming that was his peak, he did that with luol deng as his second fiddle. no chance.

8.) 12 Feb 2019 23:06:04
Pg over pippen.

11 Feb 2019 09:56:37
I know we Lakers fan are delusional but who big time FA do you think is the most likely to sign with us this summer?

1.) 11 Feb 2019 10:02:59

2.) 11 Feb 2019 12:49:44
Cousins and/ or J Butler and K Thompson or Middleton

I don't think K Durant an K Leonard would be good fits next LBJ.

K Walker could come, if they trade Ball.

And Irving could go, no he don't. Wait, he want to play with LBJ or didn't he? Let's say he comes if the earth is flat.

3.) 11 Feb 2019 16:44:54

4.) 11 Feb 2019 17:27:14
Vucevic and Walker if I were to guess two.

5.) 12 Feb 2019 00:37:19
I doubt any superstars go so I would load Lebron up with nothing but shooter to add to the young core. Mirotic Bogdanovic Ross Redick Green Ariza Matthews etc,

6.) 12 Feb 2019 00:44:14
Lol you don’t think Durant or Leonard would be good fits? They are good fits with whatever 4 players are on the court with them.

7.) 12 Feb 2019 12:43:22
Notdrainer- true but both don't seem to want to play with him.

29 Jan 2019 05:42:42
every contenders offer.. who have the best?

HOU sends Capela, Gordon, 3 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis, Moore, Clark

LAL sends Kuzma, Ingram, Zubac, KCP, 3 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis, Moore

DEN sends Murray, Millsap, Porter Jr, Plumlee, Beasley, 2 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis, Holiday, Clark

POR sends McCollum, Collins, Nurkic, Turner, 2 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis, Holiday

SAS sends Derozan, Poeltl, Murray, 2 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis, Moore, Clark

BOS sends Tatum, Smart, Baynes, 3 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis

MIL sends Middleton, Bledsoe, Brogdon, Snell, Maker, 2 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis, Holiday, Clark

IND sends Sabonis, Young, 3 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis

PHI sends Simmons, Fultz, Chandler, Butler, 1st rd pick
NOP sends Davis, Holiday, Clark

TOR sends Anounoby, Ibaka, Siakam, Powell, 3 1st rd picks
NOP sends Davis, Hill

of course GS can offer Green and Thompson but i don't think they have the use for Davis

1.) 29 Jan 2019 10:30:08
Philly’s offer is the best if butler resigned.

2.) 30 Jan 2019 01:39:52
That Philly offer is to much. Simmons, Fultz, expiring money and maybe a 1st would be great value. Simmons is a 22 year old star and a guy who legitimately has a chance to be as good as Davis. The only guy who’s even close to that level they could get else where is Tatum.

29 Jan 2019 02:09:18
Who's allstar?

Rose or McCollum?
Aldridge or Derozan?

Wade or Dlo?
Tatum or Middleton?

1.) 29 Jan 2019 12:42:59

2.) 29 Jan 2019 14:58:02
Rose and wade are far from all stars.

Nurkic probably deserves it over McCollum.

Aldridge and Middleton both should be all stars this year.
