In Orlando, LeBron can reunite with hks super buddies in Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony since they have cap flexibility.

LBJ won't leave. He would lose 80% of his legacy. First looking for rings in miami, then for $$ in LA.
Only KD will profit, because people will hate LBJ more in this scenario.

Also people will see MJ as goat then.

MJ will always be the GOAT. LeBron can't win a title by himself as the only star. MJ did. 6 times. MJ only had complementary players around him. LeBron needs more stars around him.

Pippen wasn't a star? He's a HOF. Rodman wasn't a star? 12,000 rebounds I guess doesn't count for much.

MJ will still always be better than LBJ, but to suggest that he did all by himself is wrong.

Doesn't LeBron have a no trade clause?

James legacy took a step backwards IMO. He may be the best now but in the end he won't be. #'s may show he is but his legacy will not.

When news broke that he was going back to Cleveland my 1st thought was Gilbert's an idiot, because he'll leave again. Dan needs to trade him and get a whole new start. This will be twice now that James has shafted Cleveland, well really once, for all those who believe that he isn't about to do it again. But it will be twice for those who know he will.

Gilbert got 1 championship, so take it and be proud of it, because it cost you 100+ million. And trade him for the best deal that's best for the Cav's, not for what's best for James. If it's to the Suns, Brooklyn, Utah. Whatever is best for your team as far as a return. LBJ lied to you AGAIN. If you let him opt out and leave then shame on you Dan.

OldskoolMagic, in Lebron's defense, he has played against much better teams in the finals than Jordan had to so he needs other stars around him. Also, to say Scottie Pippen isn't a star is just wrong. He is a top 30 player all time.

Pippen and Rodman both would not be the man on a team without Jordan. They were both great complementary players. Love and Irving both can be the man on a team without LeBron.

OldskoolMagic except Pippen was the man on a team without Jordan. don't you remember the 1993-94 Bulls? After Jordan "retired" Pippen still led Bulls to a 55 win season, finished 3rd in MVP voting, won all-star game MVP, and leading vote getter for All-NBA first team and All-Defensive first team. Jordan is GOAT but you got it twisted if you think he won all by himself, Pippen is an all-time great.

Oldskoolmagic, Pippen took the Bulls to a 50 win season the first time Jordan retired and there were other borderline allstars who were on those Bulls teams (Armstrong, Cartwright, Rodman, etc. ) . Then he had some of those best shooters in his era with guys like Kukoc, Paxton, and Kerr. He had one of the best coaches of all time in Jackson and a weaker all around league. Who was the 2nd best team during the Bull's dynasty? The Rockets with one star player player? The Jazz who couldn't get a title even when Jordan was out of the way? He's the best basketball player of all time, but people act like Jordan was some infallible player who carried the Bulls all by himself and it's far from the truth. Before Pippen he couldn't even get out of the 1st round.

Oh really oldschool? The year Jordan missed, 93-94 Pippen averaged 22/ 9/ 6 and led the bulls to the second best record in the east. 55-27 seems like a rather well led team. That year he was the All star game MVP and 3rd in the league in MVP voting.

Pippen was an AMAZING player. Hysterical you call him a complementary player. Just means you never were around to actually watch. you just get caught up in the Jordan hype and believe he turned water into wine. Jordan had an amazing team around him when he won championships. With rodman, the best rebounder and defender in the league.

In Pippen, a top 10, likely top 5 player in the league. don't kid yourself, jordan is one of the top players ever, but he sure as hell didn't do it alone like many try and make it seem like he did.

As for Love and Kyrie being the man on their own. Love's best season was 40-42 while "being the man" Never once did he make it to 500, or the playoffs. kyrie. FAR worse. 33-49.best season he had. There are measuredable stats for all that you said. All of which shows you to be flat out wrong.

Love and Irving have a sample size without lebron. While being "the man" the best either did was 40-42. No playoffs. No hope.
