Thank you! I personally feel better now.
Anyone interested in talking about KD, Lebron, Dwade, And Cp3 to La?

No one?

2.) 27 May 2016 20:00:19
hahaha don't forget Melo too.

3.) 27 May 2016 20:50:21
I think the most recently proposed melo trade was a 2022 highly protected 2nd for Melo and Porzingis. Porzingis is included to sweeten the deal for whichever team is desperate enough to take on the awful melo!

I think my favorite quote about melo was something along the lines of "CP3 is so elite, that when his team fails to make the playoffs or win anything the handful of times they do make it, it's not his fault. Melo is less elite, so when the same thing happens. it's Melo's fault"

Just funny, ragtag team the past 3 seasons, but the one consistent piece is the scape goat. I'd probably just say the scapegoat is the awful lineup, coach, management and owner lol.

4.) 27 May 2016 23:09:07
Couldn't agree more, the Knicks roster has been jump off a bridge bad the past 5 years. Outside of KP what have they surrounded Melo with. Nothing! Quick name me the best guard the Knicks have had the past 5 years? Jeremy Lin? Aaron Afflalo? They're blessed Melo hasn't outright demanded his way out.

5.) 28 May 2016 04:16:04
I like Lopez. I love porzingis. With hornachek getting them out of the miserable triangle, pretty certain the Knicks are a backcourt away from a rather good team.

Snag batum and maybe Jennings or rondo and I think they are solidly in the playoffs.

6.) 28 May 2016 00:41:21
Knicks had J. R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and Tim Hardaway Jr., three great shooting guards. They all got traded within a year and the return was Jerian Grant and cap space.

7.) 28 May 2016 00:53:20
Raymond Felton.

03 Mar 2016 16:26:57
Was reading something about how the Celtics inquired about Paul George. Was wondering what you guys thought would be a good deal to get him here in the offseason.

I was thinking something along the lines of:
BOS: George
IND: Johnson, Smart, Young, 2016 BKN 1st, 2016 DAL 1st and 2018 BOS 1st

My guess he would only be available if he says he's unhappy and they decided that their team isn't good enough and decide to rebuild. a Smart and Turner foundation could be very good along with the 2016 BKN pick.

What you guys think?

LarryLegend33

1.) 03 Mar 2016 17:06:03
Not enough, CHI rejected Bradley, Johnson and two Nets picks and two other first rounders for Butler, and George is better than him.
So I guess Crowder, Bradley, two Nets picks would be a start. Depending on lottery might replace Crowder with Smart, Young, Olynyk combo (if IND gets top3 pick and draft SF)

2.) 03 Mar 2016 17:10:21
Not bad, but I don't see Johnson or Young being attractive trade bait for a George deal. Probably need an Olynik and hunter instead.

3.) 03 Mar 2016 17:18:52
Agreed with realeast. The reports are everyone around the league has grown tired of the Celtics proposals. They believe it is all low ball offers for elite players. These organizations will not trade their franchise cornerstone in his prime for essentially nice role players/ decent starters and picks. The Celtics are also in a bad position. All those picks and clearly can't sign all of them. So the pacers say no.

Especially when you through Johnson and young in like they have value. If you want a star you need to give up players like crowder. Not that bit makes no sense and sets the pacers back significantly.

4.) 03 Mar 2016 17:44:19
Well I really only threw in Johnson to make salaries work but I definitely understand where you guys are coming from. Just would love to see George in green since he is my favorite player.

5.) 03 Mar 2016 18:09:57
While time works for BOS to some degree, as knicks pointed, those pick will start loosing they value eventually, or better put, won't be that big leverage.

6.) 03 Mar 2016 18:28:21
Not enough.

17 Feb 2016 22:03:31
Rumor has it that if the Hawks decide to blow it up the Celtics are front runners for Horford. My trade:

Celtics get: Horford and Korver
Hawks get: Hunter, Young, Lee, Sullinger Boston's and Dallas' first round picks

What you guys think?

LarryLegend33

1.) 18 Feb 2016 01:45:34
Too much for a player that can leave during free agency.

2.) 18 Feb 2016 02:02:29
Remove one of Hunter or Young and only one first round pick, maybe swap in a couple of second round picks instead.

3.) 18 Feb 2016 04:34:30
I think the Hawks get screwed. I'm a C's fan btw.

16 Feb 2016 20:35:17
The trades are coming in fast now!

Heat get: Brian Roberts
Grizzles get: P. J. Hairston, 2 second round picks from the Hornets, and 2 second round picks from the Heat
Hornets get: Courtney Lee

I love this time of year :)

LarryLegend33

1.) 16 Feb 2016 20:49:36
Grizzles also getting Chris Anderson.

2.) 16 Feb 2016 22:05:35
I feel like this is a steal for the Grizz.

3.) 16 Feb 2016 22:52:05
Not a bad trade for all teams. Hornets probably get worst out of it.

16 Feb 2016 19:20:02
Finalized Trade!

Detroit: Tobias Harris
Orlando: Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova

First trade of the season. Let the games begin.

LarryLegend33

1.) 16 Feb 2016 20:04:09
Pistons stole Harris in that deal.

Can I now gloated about how I thought the Greg Monroe signing was going to be a bad one? He was a DNP - Coaches decision last game and the Celtics are 15 better defensively when he's off the court.

LarryLegend33

1.) 01 Mar 2018 00:13:16
You were/ are right.
Monroe looks overweight and unmotivated.
Theis has hustled his way into big minutes.

2.) 01 Mar 2018 03:25:03
And right on cue, Monroe has his best game of the season.

3.) 01 Mar 2018 19:34:22
yeah I know haha darn. maybe I jinxed him in the right direction.

4.) 09 Mar 2018 02:05:13
Monroe is an excellent luxury to not need, or depend on much. That's when guys like him strike, game 3 in a playoff series when your up 2 games already. He'll just show up grab 12 boards, and score 20. Out of nowhere. Stevens is a coach who rides hot hands, and doesn't give in to rotational normalcies game to game. Great place for Monroe. He needs to ride the pine sometimes. PHX was great but, they always sat Chandler when he played. Stevens doesn't roll that way. He'll pull Monroe for Theiss or Baynes in a second.

LarryLegend33

1.) 17 Jun 2016 00:13:59
The Bulls should draft Brice Johnson.

2.) 17 Jun 2016 14:56:06
USA's in the orient and posts overnight here so unless y'all wanna wait another day someone should pick for the suns.

3.) 17 Jun 2016 15:34:00
I'll do it. With the 28th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns select Juan Hernangomez, Forward, Spain.

With their last first round pick, they take a draft and stash guy who can stretch the floor and has solid athleticism, 2 things modern NBA big man need.

4.) 17 Jun 2016 17:22:04
With the 29th pick the San Antonio Spurs select from UNLV shooting guard Patrick McCaw

Best player available, good size, good upside.

5.) 17 Jun 2016 17:44:01
With the 30th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors select, Deandre Bembry, guard from the university of Saint Joes.

The Warriors will need a backup for Klay Thompson so they take one of the best players left in Bembry.

DA BULLZ!

2.) 15 Jun 2016 02:37:13
With the 20th pick in the 2016 NBA draft, the Indiana Pacers select: Damian Jones, Center, Vanderbilt.

Damian Jones fits a perfect need for the Pacers who have Mahinmi and Hill coming off the books. Jones is an athletic rim protector with a body made to be an early contributor. Aside from this, Jones can knock down a shot from 18 feet out and had an efficient 60 FG% last year. Giving the Pacers a future front court of: Turner, Jones, and George at an affordable price.

3.) 15 Jun 2016 12:15:24
With the 21st pick in the 2016 NBA draft the Atlanta hawks select: Henry Ellenson PF from Marquette.

The perfect marriage of need and best player available, ellenson's outside shooting and rebounding will perfectly compliment Paul milsap in the frontcourt while providing another outside outlet for Jeff league. Ellenson also provides insurance in the event of Al Horford signing elsewhere.
We will expect Henry to improve his defensive awareness and overall body structure thru intense study and exercise regiments and believe he can become every bit the player Kevin Love has without the drama.

As an aside and on a personal note. Going thru my recent posts its become obvious that with the draft only 8 days away I am swiftly loosing my sanity, so taking a couple of days away from the hoopla seems imperative. If someone else could refresh this post when it gets to be that time ( I know you've done it more than once LarryLegend) I would appreciate it.

4.) 15 Jun 2016 14:13:07
With the 22nd pick in the 2016 NBA draft the Charlotte Hornets select: Malachi Richardson, SG, Syracuse.

Hornets select the best player available on the board while also filling a need. Richardson has potential to be a very good wing and gives Charlotte shooting and athleticism on the wing. His ability to create his own shot is also what convinces Charlotte to make this pick. Coach Clifford can help improve his consistency and his transition from the 2-3 Defense into the NBA's man to man.

5.) 15 Jun 2016 16:13:50
With the 23rd pick in the 2016 NBA Draft the Boston Celtics select: Thon Maker, PF Australia.

The Celtics are loaded with picks in this draft and aren't a team that is necessarily in the "rebuild" process, at least not through the draft. So far we have selected two foreign players, one who might not be coming over this year in Korkmaz and one the may or may not be able to contribute or see the floor this season in Bender. What the Celtics really need is experienced and ready to impact right now players and this draft doesn't have many of those and they haven't been available at our picks.

So with this pick we pick a player that has HUGE upside and knows that he will need to develop down in the D-League for a little while. This draft class the Celtics put together is for the future and won't be taking any playing time away from players already on the roster and players they sign in free agency. This also gives them three players that all have upside and time to develop and could be potential trade chips down the line for more marquee players (Cousins, Butler, George) if they become available.

Danny Ainge put together a treasure chest full of draft picks in hopes to land a franchise changing player and whether we find that player by drafting or we find him by trading the draft picks is still unknown. But he is in a very good situation if he can draft players with high upside and still have cap space to reach for the stars in free agency. Time will only tell.

6.) 15 Jun 2016 18:10:59
With the 24th pick in the 2016 NBA draft, the Philadelphia 76ers select Malik Beasley, SG FSU.
The sixers desperately need shooters, and Beasley is the best one still on the board with the most NBA upside. Demetrius Jackson of ND and Tyler Ulis of Kentucky where also given strong consideration.

7.) 15 Jun 2016 23:03:09
With the 25th pick in the 2016 NBA draft, the Los Angeles Clippers select, Dorian Finney-Smith, forward, from Florida.

The Clippers have always needed a Small forward. With Green, Johnson, Mbah A Moute all free agents and a past his prime Paul Pierce, they could use someone who could step into a bench role right away and play defense and hit the three like Smith. Brice Johnson was also give consideration.

8.) 16 Jun 2016 01:58:46
With the 26th pick on the 2016 NBA Draft the Philadelphia 76ers select Ante Zizic C, Croatia International. Zizic is 19, 7ft' and 250 pounds. Averaged 15 and 9. Nice touch and has NBA skill set as a quality back up center. Good draft and stash candidate to bring over in 2 to 3 years. With most likely Noel and/ or Okafor being dealt for backcourt help, a draft and stash big isn't a bad pick here.

9.) 16 Jun 2016 03:43:52
That is certainly a reach for Dorian Finney-Smith. He could easily be picked with the #33 pick in 2nd round and the Clippers could draft Demetrius Jackson, Deandre Bembry, Patrick McCaw, Diamond Stone, or Brice Johnson. Here, plenty of better options.

10.) 16 Jun 2016 04:38:56
There will be surprises in the draft.

11.) 16 Jun 2016 04:58:32
With the 27th pick the Toronto Raptors take from UNC power forward Brice Johnson

Really was leaning towards taking a wing or centre, however I like what Johnson brings to the table, surprised he fell this far, and probably BPA, Raps only have Patterson signed for next year and no 4 depth behind him, as a senior may be ready to help quickly, share backup minutes with Sabonis, maybe some minutes at 5.

12.) 16 Jun 2016 12:10:35
Brice might be the steal of our mock.

13.) 16 Jun 2016 14:34:41
Are we gong into round 2?

14.) 16 Jun 2016 17:30:37
DaBulls: Totally agree, expect him to actually go mid to late teens, but for purposes of our little game here, score.

NBA TALK MOCK DRAFT:
Order:
#1 Philadelphia 76ers: Ben Simmons
#2 LA Lakers: Brandon Ingram
#3 Boston Celtics: Dragan Bender
#4 Phoenix Suns: Jaylen Brown
#5 Minnesota Timberwolves: Kris Dunn
#6 New Orleans Pelicans: Buddy Hield
#7 Denver Nuggets: Jamal Murray
#8 Sacramento Kings: Marquese Chriss
#9 Toronto Raptors: Domantas Sabonis
#10 Milwaukee Bucks: Dejounte Murray
#11 Orlando Magic: NBA (BENSIMMONS NEVER GOT AT US)
#12 Utah Jazz: USA
#13 Phoenix Suns: USA
#14 Chicago Bulls: DABULLS

GENTLEMEN THE 2016 NBA TALK MOCK DRAFT HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN AND IS ROLLING ONLY A FEW MORE PICKS IN THE LOTTERY LEFT!

NBA, you are on the clock with the Magic pick!

LarryLegend33

1.) 09 Jun 2016 17:47:07
My synopsis for those who couldn't read it for Murray:

Bucks are in a tough spot deciding between BPA and someone who fits their system. Murray is a taste of both worlds as he is the best guard available and gives them a ball handler in the back court especially with OJ Mayo potentially leaving.

Not the jump shooter they desperately need but not a bad shooter by any means, and his length at the guard position (6'9 wingspan) with high energy fits the bucks defensive profile.

2.) 09 Jun 2016 23:13:42
EN BEE AYY, Donde estas? Su en el reloj! Su eleccion para el Magic de Orlando!

3.) 10 Jun 2016 02:18:20
With the 11th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic select Jakob Poeltl, Center out of the University of Utah.

Magic get a big man who provides something the team has lacked for quite awhile, rim protection. He can move quite well for a man his size and is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. He is a hard worker with a very good basketball IQ.
He would likely come off the bench behind Vucevic but the two could play some minutes together.

4.) 10 Jun 2016 12:41:19
Poeltl's biggest knock on his game is a lack of rim protection and a belief he may never develop it. Just saying.

5.) 10 Jun 2016 15:09:08
He may not be the most vertically gifted shot blocker, but he does at least an average job protecting the rim, tho mostly coming across from the weak side rather than standing up an opponent.

6.) 10 Jun 2016 17:13:32
He has the potential to be an elite defender and with his hard work ethic and great IQ, I think he'll become one.

7.) 10 Jun 2016 17:30:53
USA up for back to back picks.

8.) 11 Jun 2016 09:50:33
Utah Jazz select Denzel Valentine
Jazz could use him and his hustle together with Burks off the bench to back up Hayward and Hood

Then PhX select Skal Labissiere. If they trade Chandler he and Len will take over the center spot.

Morey has been asking for 4 picks minimum. No way he is getting that but if his asking price is that aastronomically high I don't see any way he settles for a guy the Sixers had to pay a 1st to trade.

His value is not this low either.

Hard no from Boston. They won't include Brown in a deal for Beal or Lillard according to reports so no way they include him in a deal for picks and a prospect.

Damn is the Cavs dream to stick in the top of the lottery for years until LeBron comes back to save them again?

That would be a horrible scenario for them!

Kispert is such a huge reach at 5, he's a late lottery-mid 20s pick imo.

Are you talking about adding Patrick Patterson? Dude is nothing but an back up to a back up big man at this point in his career.

Also like others have said there is no reason for Kawai to go to Chicago.

To not plan and work with your team on an offseason workout schedule in any off-season's since being in the league is very worrisome. Dude definitely doesn't seem to want to be with Philly or even want to change his style of player. He has gone so long with being able to "succeed" the way he plays now so seems like he doesn't want to change and adapt.

Not sure how I can be wrong when all I said was that bringing up the past is valid when talking about how a player earned his contract. Never said I agreed Paul was overpaid or anything.

So before you look for a fight, which clearly that's what you're here for, learn to comprehend what someone says!

Like both Rkenne_16 and Supercollider said, we've already seen the best of this team so taking the risk on Leonard was a good move for one t shot. If Leonard leaves after this year then they open up a boat load of cap space where they can absorb unwanted contracts along with 1sts.

It sucks the Raptors traded away the face of their franchise but its a business more so then ever now.

LarryLegend33
