Miami gets Jimmy Butler
Minnesota gets Josh Richardson, Justice Winslow with a signed extension, and a 2019 lottery protected 1st
Winslow extension will be in the 7-9 million range
Minnesota will save about 3 million in salary and will put them under the hard cap

Winslow will get more than that, probably looking at $11-$13M a year. Still works though salary wise.
Looks like Minny wants multiple picks though, probably need to add at least an unprotected 2nd, if not another protected first.

I don't understand why Miami wants Butler so badly, especially if they would have to give up Richardson AND a guy like Winslow. Butler doesn't make a team on his own. That's been proven in two stops, and he's had better talent around him both places than he would in Miami. You'd be getting rid of the guys you would hope to ADD Butler TO in order to get him, and they're likely shipping off picks which are their only route to getting talent on the cheap to bolster the team.
I like Butler a lot, but he's not a LeBron/ Durant type player who makes you a contender on his own.

The Miammi offer isn't unfair, but i think Minny could get a better return for Butler.
I like this for Sacramento, they need draft picks and the Miami pick would be worth taking a bad contract.

I heard wolves want to move Dieng with butler from Zach lowe. This is a good trade proposal but Miami wouldn't need to include both Winslow and Richardson when taking 48 mil worth of Dieng in return.

Whiteside for Dieng? In that deal I want compensation for taking on a 3rd season and far less of a player in Dieng. Riley then after leveling out that financial debacle, deals Winslow and Richardson for expiring butler, all during a wade farewell tour season? Doesn't sing riley to me.

Got called out on d I get it. But harden, derozan, and others had the same knock on them but don’t get half the criticism.
He’s averaging around 20 ppg career 47% and is only 23 still has lent hit his ceiling .
Even as a 3rd option he averaged almost 18.
Not saying he is top tier but I feel like he got a bad rap this year unfairly, let’s see how he responds to this before we write him off.

Dieng’s contract for minn is 15 million for 3 more years. Make it a first round pick and I think Minnesota does it.
