Mavericks gets Al Horford, 2021 1st round pick, 2021 2nd round pick via NYK

Sixers get Delon Wright, Justin Jackson, Dwight Powell

1.) 15 Jul 2020 22:36:06
Mavs say no. All three are good players on reasonable deals signed for the next two years each. Mavs are committed to these guys and only would trade them if they had to or got a fantastic deal. Horford on a bad deal doesn't move the needle.

After the season when small ball and bully ball don't work

Rockets get
Al Horford, 2020 2nd round pick via ATL, and 2020 1st round pick via OKC

Sixers get
Eric Gordon and Robert Covington

1.) 11 Jun 2020 13:01:35
That looks horrible for the Rockets. Eric Gordon and Robert Covington can net better returns.

2.) 11 Jun 2020 14:14:52
Horrible for Rockets. Be better signing Tristian Thompson with an exception.

26 Feb 2020 19:43:14

Sixers get Mike Conley

Jazz get Al Horford

Both guys on bad contracts that are north of 30. Fit isn't ideal with Utah so Philly would add sweeteners

1.) 26 Feb 2020 19:59:03
Conley has 1 year left and Horford has 3. The 6ers would need to throw in a pick or two.

2.) 26 Feb 2020 20:54:53
good trade pick will help the trade.

3.) 26 Feb 2020 21:52:15
Utah would have kept Favors if he could hit a 3. Horford does that at a rate Utah could benefit from. Horford will be 35 when Utah makes its last 30 million dollar payment to Horford. Judging by Milsap in Denver this could be work for both sides if all goes as planned. (Although I wouldn't have picked up the option on Milsap this season if I was DEN)

If Simmons has back surgery, Conley would be a good replacement for a half season or more, maybe even stay for less after next season if he and Simmons coexist decently.

Draft day deal involving the OKC 1st if it conveys. If not, the 2022 1st lottery protected would fill the hole.

Simmons is likely to be down as long as M. Porter and/ or D. Howard were recovering from their sorta recent back surgery / injury recovery. That's about a season. Hope the news is more positive after the "treatment" in a couple weeks.

Philly shed Horfords' longer-term deal and gets help they need for the playoffs, Utah picks up a first, and tries out a different fit. Looks good to me.

4.) 26 Feb 2020 23:31:45
Conley was unbenched so never mind kinda. Philly could also then give josh Richardson a lucrative deal to keep him around when conleys contract expires.

13 Feb 2020 02:18:41
Buddy Hield for Al Horford this summer? Idk what else would be involved but I think this is a good starting place for both teams. Salaries should be close when buddy's extension kicks in this summer

1.) 13 Feb 2020 12:23:27
Hield +picks for Embiid.

2.) 13 Feb 2020 16:07:18
Horford appears to be running on fumes. But with Sacramento you never know what's going on, so anything is possible.

22 Jan 2020 02:19:11

Pistons get Kyle Kuzma, Mike Scott, 3 second rounders (NYK, ATL, PHI- all from the Sixers)
Lakers get Derrick Rose, Markieff Morris, Trey Burke
Sixers get Avery Bradley, Luke Kennard

1.) 22 Jan 2020 12:30:46
Luke and Rose are better than what sixers and lakers are giving up combined.

2.) 22 Jan 2020 13:48:01
salaries don't work. LA would have to throw in Tucker or another low salary to Detroit to make them work.
Detroit gets hosed. doubt that they want to send a gift like this to the Lakers for 3 seconds. not sure Philadelphia wants to give up 3 seconds for the marginal improvement they'd get from the deal.

3.) 24 Jan 2020 16:20:36
Detroit hangs up the phone and walks away. Not enough for Kennard for sure they could trade him straight up for Kuzma and a second if they wanted to.

Are the Grizzlies waiving Avery Bradley? And if so where do we think he'll end up? I was reading the Sixers were interested and he'd probably be perfect to complete their rotation

1.) 02 Jul 2019 17:23:07
A lot depends on Kawhi, but I could see him in Phili or either LA team. Depends on if he wants a longer deal with more mone, or just a one year min deal too.

2.) 02 Jul 2019 22:07:14
Grizz can get at least a pick for bradley, crowder, and korver during season when teams get desperate.

3.) 03 Jul 2019 03:11:17
Not for Bradley at 12 mill or Korver at 7.5. Contending teams looking to make those moves won’t have the cap space and they don’t move the needle enough to give up a rotation player already on the roster.

4.) 04 Jul 2019 16:16:04
Kris dunn and Felicio for Avery Bradley n jae crowder.

17 Apr 2019 16:08:20
The Sixers have a 1% chance of getting the first overall pick which is almost 4x better than the 1, 6, 11 us Processers were praying for back in 2015.
On the off chance that they actually get that #1 pick, do they trade it or take Zion? What kind of bounty would that pick command?

1.) 17 Apr 2019 16:14:29
Keep it and let Harris walk.

2.) 18 Apr 2019 12:11:44
Why would you let Harris go? You could bring back the same team and send Redick to the bench.
Simmons/ McConnell
Butler/ Redick
Harris/ Smith
Zion/ Bolden
Embiid/ Boban.

3.) 18 Apr 2019 13:34:23
Going to need Reddick more than Harris to spread the court as well as the flexibility to run plays where Reddick is coming off multiple screens. Without Reddick, teams will defend Philly with a pack it into the key defense/ zone.

4.) 19 Apr 2019 15:44:54
You could get AD with it for sure. You could get Beal. The Suns pick, their 2020 pick, Jackson, and Bridges. The Cavs 1st, the 26th via the Rockets, the Cavs 2022 1st, and Love. A million Knicks picks and young guys.

01 Feb 2019 12:25:04
Will the Knicks buyout Matthews and Jordan? Would be perfect for the Sixers to pick up

1.) 01 Feb 2019 17:13:51
I saw someone say that Matthews had an eye on GS, which would make sense for both sides. I think he could pretty much pick any playoff team to sign with, he's a highly valuable position of need for pretty much everyone in the league.

I could see Jordan ending up with the Lakers, or maybe in Houston with Capela missing another month or so.

2.) 03 Feb 2019 01:30:06
I can see Jordan with Lakers, Bucks, Wizards

Matthews however could have a lot more: Pacers Rockets Lakers Raptors Blazers Warriors Sixers.

3.) 04 Feb 2019 15:53:36
Knicks will turn those players into future picks.

15 Jan 2019 16:44:17
any chance kd leaves the warriors for philly this summer?

1.) 15 Jan 2019 16:50:37
Anything is possible.

2.) 15 Jan 2019 19:26:01
I think it’s a low chance. I don’t like Phili as a destination due to Simmons lack of a shot, and Embiid’s injury history.

3.) 15 Jan 2019 23:20:16
I'd say no chance if Butler resigns.

4.) 16 Jan 2019 01:35:48
Yea the hope is we sign kd before jimmy tries to bounce. I think there’s a decent chance he doesn’t get a max cause of his reputation.

5.) 17 Jan 2019 01:23:37
I'd say no. No chance in hell.

01 Jan 2019 13:25:53
For the record, I do not want to get rid of Ben Simmons! However, trade rumors involving him are becoming less avoidable and that won't change until he can shoot. At the moment what do we think philly could get for him?

1.) 01 Jan 2019 13:46:46
It’s actually kinda odd. Last year he was on a career arc to be an mvp candidate. However he really hasn’t improved at all. If anything, he’s worse now that everyone knows he can’t shoot past 4 feet.

He still is wildly valuable. But he absolutely needs to go to the right system. Full of shooters but not distributors. I just don’t think his value to teams at this point matches his overall value.

Point is. He need to start learning to shoot. This is absurd.

2.) 01 Jan 2019 14:41:24
Thanks for answering my question.

3.) 01 Jan 2019 15:33:54
Theoretically, he could be the main piece in a trade for someone like Davis. Maybe, you throw in a protected 1st and some cap savings for the Pelicans. I think you only trade him if you’re getting an elite player back.

4.) 01 Jan 2019 15:42:38
Sixers could be creative with cap and add another 15-25mil player into the mix for a couple seasons maybe. I would hate to lose the court vision and ooints in the paint Simmons provides. He's sort of like a smaller mason plumlee. An underrated player I think.

5.) 01 Jan 2019 17:10:58
I’d take Simmons any day he defends, passes unbelievable, rebounds well yes he can’t shoot but Philly can slide him at the 4 it’s a luxury .

6.) 01 Jan 2019 19:45:20
True. I guess all would be solved if Fultz was the guy we expected.

7.) 02 Jan 2019 02:34:08
Terrance Ross and johnatinthin Simmons for ben.

8.) 02 Jan 2019 17:56:04
Hah! That's hilarious Shiller!

Any trade that ships out Horford helps philly. Add a starting caliber ball handler too? This is great for philly.

I just don’t see why Phoenix does this. Love doesn’t fit their timeline. Better off trying to get wiggins from GSW.
