Sixers - Celtics

Sixer:
Trade Simmons, Covington, #39

Sixers receive roster flexibility & shooting. Draft Jackson #3

Fultz
Bradly
Jackson
Saric
Embiid

Celtics:
Trade Bradley & #1

Celtics receive future star & flexibility. Sign Haywood.

IT, Rozier
Smart, Covington,
Crowder, Brown
Simmons
Horford

Still enough firepower to get Butler if wanted.

Sixers will not trade Simmons no matter the haul.

2.) 10 Jun 2017 16:15:14
Really interesting.
Celtics create a starting spot for brown (not smart) . Also getting an other great defender in covington against Lebron for the next playoffs. Simmons would help a lot too.
But overall too young to win it all
Also risky after the injury of Simmons.
76ers consider it too.
Can still trade #3 then.
But they give up 2 of their 3 pieces of the future. Bradley plays same position than TLC and korkmaz. 76ers might prefer one of the european bigs of the celtics.
I say 35% yes, 65% no. But a great ideas!

3.) 10 Jun 2017 16:24:54
C's would rather have Horford at the 4 and get a rebounding big. But if Philly would do this then Ainge would. But playing small ball won't get them over the hump. Zizic would help but wouldn't get enough minutes to really make a big difference.

4.) 10 Jun 2017 17:20:09
Right now Simmons and Fultz are the same caliber player, except that Fultz brings the skill set that the Celtics are looking for. Simmons doesn't bring the offensive game that they need. I'm still not sold on Simmons myself anyway. I don't think it's a horrible trade for either team, but I don't think it helps the Celtics enough to make it. The addition of Fultz, Bradley and Jackson rounds out a starting rotation, but I'm not sure that's where Bradley wants to resign. He's already been through a rebuild, and I'm not sure he'd want to again.

5.) 10 Jun 2017 20:40:42
If celtics are goimg sign hayward then they prob would rather have okafor instead of covington. With smart and brown at the 2 and hayward and crowder at the 3.

Be wary of injured players and players who put up decent numbers for bad teams.

7.) 11 Jun 2017 18:25:09
and players who put up points and nothing else. like IT? Oh wait. we ignore that, don't we supertroll?

Sixers fan & not sure I would make this deal. But this is what I feel would be needed to get Porzingis..

Sixers get: Zinger, Noah, #8 pick

Knicks get: Saric, Okafor, #3 pick, '18 Sixers 1st, '19 Sac 1st

Sixers add a young stud & get a decent prospect at #8..

Knicks get 2 young players , 3-1sts, & rid of Noah contract..

Thoughts?

Not bad. Knicks could then trade Melo, draft Fox or Jackson at #3, and sign a 3pt shooter at shooting guard.

2.) 24 May 2017 19:56:11
If you took out the #8 I think NY might go for it, but with how deep this draft is, I don't think just moving up the 5 spots is enough, even with the future picks coming in. I like Saric, but he's a huge downgrade from Porzingis.

If I'm the 76ers, I do this in a heartbeat. It's a trade that works out perfectly for them. They could likely take Monk at #8, and like I said, Porzingis is a huge upgrade at the 4, and will fit well with Embiid. They still have the Lakers pick next draft, and at this point, they need to start consolidating their assets anyway. Bringing in Porzingis might give Lowry the reason to sign there.

Lowry
Monk
Simmons
Porzingis
Embiid

That's a pretty solid starting 5.

Sixers - Blazers

Sixers get:
McCollum

Blazers get:
Saric
'18 Lakers 1st (unprotected)
'18 Sixers 1st (Top 3 protected)
Henderson (salary match)

Sixers get perfect compliment to Simmons.

Blazers get a young stretch 4 and secure their future with the picks. Crabbe slides into the starting lineup.

McCollum would be a great fit on 76ers and value isn't bad but don't think this is the direction Portland should go. They already have 3 1sts in this years draft, Nurkic looked good to close the season and have one of best scoring backcourts in the league. They should be trying to take the next step and not take a step back to get more prospects that will take a few years to develop.

Sixers & Pacers trade...

Sixers trade:
Okafor
Covington
'17 Lakers 1st
'18 Sixers 1st (unprotected)
'19 Kings 1st

Pacers trade:
PG13

pleydet

1.) 18 Feb 2017 18:29:48
i don't dislike this trade, but i think we can do better
The LA pick is top 3 protected and the Philly pick could fall out the lottery when they get PG13.

2.) 18 Feb 2017 18:51:32
I don't see the need for Okafor when Turner is already in tow.

3.) 18 Feb 2017 18:51:38
Makes sense if the Pacers are committed to a rebuild. PD13 gives Philly a Star to pair with Embiid and Simmons. I think this could boost them into T4 in the East next season.

4.) 18 Feb 2017 19:32:14
It's doubtful the Pacers are rebuilding. This would be an okay return, but reports are they are looking to get help for PG to make a run now.

5.) 18 Feb 2017 20:07:11
I prefer PG13 over Butler, but what is this trade work better for Butler?

6.) 18 Feb 2017 20:57:04
This makes more sense if it's during the draft, and the Phili pick is the 2017 pick and it's a guaranteed spot (hopefully top 5), and the lakers pick is guaranteed to be sent in 2017 (hopefully between 4-8).

7.) 18 Feb 2017 21:01:54
If pacers are abandoning ship. then this is a nice return for George. I still say it'll take more. And won't be done h too draft day.

The pick is to dump Hill's $12m salary, Stauskas is just a throw in.

Doubtful Sixers take on that money for a pick in 4 years.

Sixers should consider Blazers deal, but would need more from Kings to move down.

If Bulls are trading Butler and starting rebuild, why would they want a package centered on 2 players about to be 27 and get paid?

I think Brown or Smart has to be in the deal w/ '17 Nets pick.

I don't think it's a matter of if Philly can absorb the contract, I think it is that they are trying to only shell out top money for "elite" players.
