PHI rebuilds
- trade Tucker to a contender

Maxey
6th pick
Wagner
Isaac/11th pick
Ayton

ORL gets a superstar to pair with Banchero

Fultz

So Orlando gives up Franz, Carter Jr, Isaac, 6, 11, and a future 1st for Embiid? It's just too much. I know Embiid is a star but no. As an Orlando fan, best offer I'd give for Embiid would be Isaac, Carter Jr, 6 & 11. That's it. No Franz, no future first.

2.) 11 Jun 2023 10:09:56
No thanks I rather stay put.

GS-Philly

GS- T Harris
Philly- Poole & 19

Poole has a longer contract but Philly can use him especially of Harden leaves

GS add a versatile wing and can play him off the bench or start with Green

The Warrior

Salaries don't match. Doubt the the Warriors are interesest in taking on $12+ mil in salary AND give up their first round pick.

GS:HOU

GS: Christian Wood

HOU: James Wiseman,

GS can't wait for Wiseman to improve, HOU can, with their timeline. My logic here is for GS to maximize their big 3's time and win more championships. They still have Kuminga, Poole and Moody as their future Wood is a tremendous player that will thrive on Warriors' system

GS

PG: Curry, Poole
SG: Thompson, Moody
SF: Wiggins, Porter Jr, Iguodala
PF: Green, Kuminga, Bjelica
CE: Wood, Looney

I would resign Porter, Bjelica and one more year from Iggy to be the locker room guy. I will look maybe for a better back up center and more PG depth

HOU future

PG: Porter Jr
SG: Green
SF: Tate
PF: Draft pick
CE: Wiseman

The Warrior

1.) 22 Mar 2022 06:49:43
I like this for both teams. Salaries don't match though.

2.) 22 Mar 2022 10:07:47
I like the trade overall but it leads the Warriors down the same road the Lakers have traveled. A top heavy roster that has a history of not being healthy.

3.) 22 Mar 2022 11:19:32
JJ i thought that too, I don't know who to add to balance the salaries. Moody would be too much. All parties should agree if a sign and trade of Damion Lee or Tuscano is involved.

4.) 22 Mar 2022 12:32:13
If Juan Toscano-Anderson takes the qualifying offer this summer, he could be included to match salaries. I've posted a trade similar to this before, makes a lot of sense for both teams. I'm not a huge fan of Wiseman but his upside is undeniable. He'd be a nice get for a rebuilding team, and Wood seems like a perfect fit in GSW.

5.) 22 Mar 2022 13:59:32
I think this is a high risk/ high reward type deal for Houston.

Weisman might become a really good player, or he could end up being a bust.

I also think there are, what could be considered "safer", deals for Woods out there.

6.) 22 Mar 2022 18:43:23
@carl006 I don’t see the “high risk” for Houston. They acquired Wood in a sign-and-trade where they only gave up a second round pick and added more protections to a future first that Detroit already owed them. In other words, they gave up very little for him.

I’m sure there are “safer” trades for him out there, but it’s very unlikely that there’s a trade with as much possible reward. Considering how little they gave up for Wood, and considering he’s most likely gone next summer anyway, it’s not very risky of them to trade him for a gamble on Wiseman.

If Wiseman even comes close to meeting expectations, then it’s a massive W. If he busts, then it’s a “oh well. ”.

7.) 22 Mar 2022 20:17:58
High risk high reward is exactly what teams toward the beginning of a total rebuild should be doing. If you don’t have a superstar yet, nothing else matters. Every chance at one should be taken.

8.) 23 Mar 2022 13:10:01
Casual - The risk is that Wiesman is coming off an injury and might miss the entire year. It is hard to the growth of a young player because of that.

And I think a safer trade would be centered around draft picks and whatever is needed to match contracts.

A breakdown of Jaylen Brown's potential supermax contract with Boston:

2024-25 - $50 Million
2025-26 - $54 Million
2026-27 - $58 Million
2027-28 - $62 Million
2028-29 - $66.1 Million

TOTAL: $290.3 Million

Should Boston sign him to the deal?

The Warrior

1.) 10 Jun 2023 12:10:01
I wouldn't. I would go $1 million more per year than what he can get if he signs with another team.

2.) 10 Jun 2023 14:30:03
Sign him then trade him next offseason.

Chauncey Billups or Tony Parker

What do the Wizards expecting to get for Beal? I believe they want a Paul George package? But i don't think their getting it, i also think that only few teams are going to pull a big time offer for him? Some of my ideas

Nets - a contender that might pull the trigger offering Levert, Dinwiddie & couple of picks

Hawks - young team that can add stars to boost their squad. Offer will look like Collins or Hunter, Huerter or Reddish & 2 to 3 1st rounders

Wolves - They have Culver, the 2020 pick, future pick, James Johnson to offer nothing more. And Beal could be a 2 year and done like Butler so this is a big if.

Magic - could be desperate to get out of mediocrity and try to offer plenty of picks and combination of players in Gordon, Isaac, bamba, Ross and basically everyone outside of Vooch and Fultz.

The Warrior

1.) 06 Jun 2020 16:34:23
Right now, there is no reason to trade Beal unless they get the price they want.

2.) 06 Jun 2020 23:16:39
Fredman- wizards are so salary ****ed they need to move Beal or wall or little room for improvement.

3.) 07 Jun 2020 14:20:24
I just don’t see a reason to move him before the allstar break next year. They have some young talent, a lottery pick this year and Wall coming back. You should atleast see what that looks like next year. It’s not like Beal has significantly less value, if they wait to trade him. He also becomes more valuable, if Giannis signs an extension. Wall probably isn’t tradable under the current circumstances.

4.) 07 Jun 2020 15:00:13
Moving him doesn't immediately solve being salary f'd because Wizs (most likely) will have to take back matching salary. Better to see what John Wall looks like amd then try to move him.

5.) 08 Jun 2020 17:05:17
Paul George shouldn’t be the comparison. OKC was able to strip more from the Clippers because they knew it was a two (George and Leonard) for one move. That’s not the norm for star trades.

6.) 09 Jun 2020 15:56:25
The Kwahi trade (+ a late first to compensated for being injured)?

So 2 late firsts, a sub All-Star talent and a young unproductive talent for Beal shoukd be the return.

7.) 09 Jun 2020 22:22:23
Milwaukee's 2021 and 2023 picks, Bledsoe, Hill and DJ Wilson?

8.) 10 Jun 2020 02:13:18
kawhi was traded as a proven finals mvp, widely considered top 5 in game as a one year rental with some injury concern to a team ready to go all in
beal is not that player
and btw fredman… 5 time all-star. even if in the east. can't let my man demar be insulted lol.

9.) 11 Jun 2020 03:23:07
Demar (disrespectful to misspell his name? ) has been slipping over the last couple of years. He currently is an "almost All-Star". Not valuing him based on what he use to be.

10.) 11 Jun 2020 15:01:22
Derozan’s value had cratered that offseason when he got traded. They got swept in the second round, and it just looked like Derozan couldn’t be a #1 option, but his skill set didn’t excel as anything but a #1 option.

Horrible for Portland. Pels can easily beat that offer.

And not just because he had this issue with Haslem and coach makes him totally available. His value isn't going any lower.

The point of your comparison is always about contract. Butler and Westbrook are totally different type of players. Butler isn't selfish unlike Westbrook. He is always a positive wherever he goes.

Well Miami can still get a better return than your offer no matter what money is attached to Jimmy. He has proven to be a good leader on a championship contending team. He is worth way way more.

Lottery protected pick for a star isn't going to work especially if you are not attaching an enticing player. It's a major downgrade for Miami and with Pat Riley there, he won't even consider this. And Sacramento would have doubts? Wow.

I'd love to get someone like Adebayo but Miami will shut the door on us. Maybe we can settle for a Myles Turner like player.

Warriors only select Avdija if they can trade Wiggins for a center. Otherwise, Wiseman would be the best fit (assuming they only land 2nd or 3rd pick)

Yeah it dependa on Dinwiddie’s role with a team. Maybe if someone like Bulls or Knicks or Magic gets him he’ll continue his stellar play. I remember he’s playing like an all star when Irving is out.

What value higher than a 26 years old all star will they get? I’d rather stick to him and build around him than start again and have unproven guys on my team. Or if you really want to deal him i’d offer Wiggins, 2020 pick, 2021 Minny pick and Poole. Will you take that?
